  • Patent number: 11768098
Abstract: A system for monitoring a fill level of a container includes a wireless module disposed on the container including an enclosure, a processor and a wireless transceiver disposed within the enclosure, and a cable mounted to the enclosure. A first pressure sensor is attached to an end of the cable distal from the enclosure and a second pressure sensor is attached to an opposite end within the enclosure. The enclosure is mounted outside of the container. The cable is inserted into the container such that the first pressure sensor is disposed near a bottom of the container. The first pressure sensor measures a pressure at the bottom of the container. The second pressure sensor measures a pressure outside of the container. The readings from the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor are cross-correlated to determine a net pressure for use in calculating the fill level of the container.

  • Patent number: 11768752
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that facilitate resource and space efficient analysis of large scale datasets. Methods include obtaining activity data for objects in a dataset. For each data item in the dataset, a hashed parameter having a binary representation is generated using an identifier for the object. A register is identified from among a set of registers based on the hashed parameter. A determination is made that the hashed parameter for the object contributes to an aggregation amount that specifies a number of occurrences of the object in the dataset. Based on this determination, an aggregation amount stored in the register is updated. Based on aggregation amounts stored in the set of registers, a reporting output is generated that provides an aggregate distribution of the objects in the dataset based on the activity data for the objects.

  • Patent number: 11762040
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to predicting failure and/or estimating remaining useful life of an air-data-probe heater. Failure is predicted or useful life is estimated based on an electrical metric of the electrical operating power provided to a resistive heating element of the air-data-probe heater. The electrical metric of the air data probe heater is one or more of: i) phase relation between voltage across the resistive heating element and leakage current, which is conducted from the resistive heating element to a conductive sheath surrounding the resistive heating element; ii) a time-domain profile of leakage current through the heating element insulation during a full power cycle; and/or iii) high-frequency components of the electrical current conducted by the resistive heating element and/or the voltage across the resistive heating element.

  • Patent number: 11762038
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a phase-to-ground fault in an AC electrical machine operates to receive measurements of three-phase voltages and currents provided to the AC electrical machine, compute at least one of a zero sequence component and a negative sequence component of voltage and current from the three-phase voltages and currents, and calculate a fault severity index (FSI) based on the zero or negative sequence component of voltage and current, so as to identify a phase-to-ground fault in the AC electrical machine. Calculating the FSI further includes determining a total value of the zero or negative sequence current, determining a noise-contributed value of the zero or negative sequence current included in the total value, determining a compensated value of the zero or negative sequence current based on the total value and the noise-contributed value, and calculating the FSI based on the compensated value.

  • Patent number: 11754489
Abstract: A pulse baseline value calculation method and a particle counting method of a blood cell analyzer. The said pulse baseline value calculation method, within pulse non-duration time, if an absolute value of a difference value between any two adjacent data of n continuous sampled data is less than a baseline threshold, and the n continuous sampled data are closest to a pulse starting point, an average value of the n continuous sampled data is calculated, and the average value is a pulse baseline value. The present invention has the advantages of setting the baseline threshold and performing comparison, avoiding the sampled data of the baseline where the noise is superimposed, selecting the sampled data with noise or interference within an allowable range for calculation, avoiding accumulating the noise on the final baseline value, making the baseline value be closer to the real data, greatly reducing the erroneous judgment of the baseline value, and making the particle count be more accurate.

  • Patent number: 11746455
Abstract: A method of identifying the properties of a washload contained in a washing machine based on variations in the output of a water level sensor resulting from transitions that alter the water level in the washer without requiring a change in the volume of water in the washer. Results are independent of the initial wetness of the washload. However initial wetness can also be determined. Variations are at least in part a function of the rate at which the wetness of the washload changes. The rate is nonlinear determined by the composition of the washload. In most transitions the water level is also affected by other factors most of which are at least in part a function of the composition. To simplify the identification preferred transitions occur once the washload wetness has reached equilibrium. To increase accuracy preferably both wetting and dehydrating transitions are used for identification.

  • Patent number: 11740590
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for enabling devices to determine the time zone in which they are located. A mobile device may receive location information from one or more sources. Based thereon, the current location of the mobile device may be determined in terms of latitude and longitude. The indication of the current location may be converted to an index value according to a Hilbert curve (or other space-filling curve), and the index value applied to a time zone index file to determine the local time zone. A time zone setting of the mobile device may be updated accordingly. Furthermore, “geofencing” may be used by the mobile device to detect movement towards and through a time zone boundary, leading to a new time zone determination being initiated.

  • Patent number: 11709870
Abstract: A graphical user interface may provide a digital map that includes digital marks for utility lines and excavation boundary. To determine the location information of a ground mark, a computing server may receive an image of a street view of a site and identify one or more ground marks from the image. The computing server may identify, using an object recognition algorithm, pixels in the image of the street view that correspond to the benchmarks recorded in the GIS data. The computing server may determine, based on relative distances between the pixels that correspond to the benchmarks and the ground marks, location data of the ground marks. The computing server may transmit the location data for display in a digital map that includes digital marks corresponding to the ground marks.

  • Patent number: 11709090
Abstract: A system for identifying an anomaly in flow meter proving equipment includes four detectors D1, D2, D3, and D4. A data acquisition and monitoring system is configured to signals from D1, D2, D3, and D4 to measure flow volumes between D1 and D3 as a measured volume Va, between D2 and D4 as a measured volume Vb, between D2 and D3 as a measured volume Vc, and between D1 and D4 as a measured volume Vd.
