  • Patent number: 12386634
Abstract: Systems involving distributed control functions are described herein. Each member or device within the system has responsibility for controlling part of the system's behavior, and includes logic to determine what action, if any, will follow as a response to determining information or receiving information from other members or devices within the system. A change of status of one member of a system may provide a basis for action by another member of the system. Status may be the result of sensing a condition of the environment, sensing the condition of a component, receiving the output of a conventional sensor, and/or sensing the condition of a link between components. In some embodiments, action taken by a member of the system may include collecting data during law enforcement activities.

  • Patent number: 12388050
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for coupling semiconductor devices are disclosed. In a group of semiconductor devices (e.g., a stack of semiconductor devices), a signal is provided to a point of coupling at an intermediate semiconductor device of the group, and the signal is propagated away from the point of coupling over different (e.g., opposite) signal paths to other semiconductor devices of the group. Loading from the point of coupling at the intermediate semiconductor device to other semiconductor devices of a group may be more balanced than, for example, having a point of coupling at semiconductor device at an end of the group (e.g., a lowest semiconductor device of a stack, a highest semiconductor device of the stack, etc.) and providing a signal therefrom. The more balanced topology may reduce a timing difference between when signals arrive at each of the semiconductor devices.

  • Patent number: 12389453
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for collision mitigation in sidelink. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes measuring channel busy ratio (CBR), estimating a number of UEs using the channel, estimating a congestion level based on the CBR and the estimated number of UEs. A method that may be performed by a sidelink UE includes determining a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resource reservation including first subframes, determining second subframes for generated packet transmission, determining to skip transmission in the second subframes, listening during the second subframes for another sidelink UE's transmission, and determining whether to reselect resources. Another method includes listening during a first subframe for another sidelink UE's transmission, detecting the transmission collides with a scheduled transmission resource for the sidelink UE based on an amount of frequency resource overlap, and determining to reselect resources.

  • Patent number: 12387413
Abstract: A method of rendering, in a rendering space, a scene formed by primitives in a graphics processing system. A rendering phase receives data describing one or more primitives and one or more associated fragment shading rates to be used during rendering. Fragments for the one or more primitives corresponding to sample positions of the one or more primitives within a region of the rendering space are stored in a buffer sampler. The buffer is parsed to produce microtiles, each microtile corresponding to an array of sample positions within the region and containing sampler fragments from the one or more primitives, the microtiles are analysed to identify shader fragment task instances to be shaded, and the shader fragment task instances are arranged into blocks, wherein at least one block of shader fragment task instances comprises shader fragment task instances from more than one microtile. The blocks of shader fragment task instances are shaded.

  • Patent number: 12373439
Abstract: A first set of subconditions is obtained. Approximate matching of the first set of subconditions against a plurality of sets of subconditions is performed. A second set of subconditions among the plurality of sets of subconditions is accessed, wherein a representation of a subcondition in the first set and/or the second set of subconditions comprises a value having one of a plurality of states, and wherein the plurality of states comprises a state of “don't care”. The first set of subconditions is approximately matched against the second set of subconditions. The first set of subconditions is compared against the second set of subconditions. A matching criterion is determined to be met based on a result of the matching. Information indicating that the second set of subconditions is at least an approximate match for the first set of subconditions is output.
