Abstract: Provided are a sheet for pets which contains carbon and has a superior appearance, and a method of manufacturing the sheet for pets. A sheet for pets is provided with a liquid-permeable front surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back surface sheet, an absorbent layer that contains carbon and is positioned between the front surface sheet and the back surface sheet, and a front surface-side liquid-permeable sheet that is black and is positioned on the front surface sheet-side of the absorbent layer. The front surface-side liquid-permeable sheet is preferably formed from pulp fibers that have been dyed black.

Abstract: A time-of-flight (TOF) camera system for a robot milking system includes a housing accommodating a light source, imaging optics, an image sensor, and electronics; a front part including a light transparent window disposed in front of the light source and the imaging optics; and fasteners. The housing has a front side and a back side, and the front part has a front side and a backside, the surface of the front side being flat and including a front surface of the light transparent window. The fasteners releasably mechanically fasten the front part to the housing with the back side of the front part and the front side of the housing facing each other. The fasteners are maneuverable from the back side of the housing to fasten the front part to, and release the front part from, the housing, thereby enabling the front part to be replaceable.

Abstract: A multifunctional dog chain includes at least two ropes, a handle ring and hooks. Rear ends of the at least two ropes are interconnected to form a first connecting portion, the handle ring is in 360° rotary connection with the first connecting portion, front ends of the ropes are separated, the hooks used for connecting with dog collars are arranged on each of said ropes, an adjustable rope clamp is arranged between the ropes and connected to the ropes to separate the ropes into a front part and a rear part, the ropes between the first connecting portion and the adjustable rope clamp form the closed rear part, each of the ropes in the front part is of a separated structure, and the adjustable rope clamp can move back and forth along said ropes. The multifunctional dog chain can prevent accidents out of too long ropes.

Abstract: A water storage type bird feeding device includes: a water storage part, which is in a cylindrical shape for water storage, a food storage part, which is arranged below the water storage part and comprises a cylindrical portion and a disk-like portion, the cylindrical portion and the disk-like portion are in communication to form a communicating cylinder portion, the disk-like portion is used to save food, a column stopper, which is able to move up and down in the communicating cylinder portion; a hook, which is connected to the column stopper for hanging the bird feeding device, wherein the communicating cylinder portion comprises a smallest diameter portion at a central portion thereof in a vertical direction, and the diameter of the column stopper is larger than an inner diameter of the smallest diameter portion.

Abstract: A gravity-fed, animal feeding apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus is equipped with a funnel, a food chute, and at least one feeding pan. The food chute of the apparatus preferably includes a transport tube configured to extend through a conventional chain-link fence gap via a diamond-shaped fitting, and terminate at the feeding pan disposed on the floor within the fenced pen area. The apparatus is configured to direct dry pet food fed into the funnel disposed on the exterior of the fenced pen area to the feeding pan on the interior of the fence. Gravity causes the food in the funnel to fall into the food chute, passing through the fence, and outputting the food to the feeding pan. The feeding pan is equipped with drainage holes to ensure that the dry food does not get wet, and that water does not collect in the feeding pan.

Abstract: A pet collar is provided with a collar command unit, which may include a stimulator feature for discouraging undesirable behavior and a sensor for detecting the undesirable behavior. A controller in the collar command unit electronically communicates with the stimulator and the sensor. The collar command unit also includes a receiver for receiving an event signal from a remote device, such as a building occupant protection system or cellular telephone, which is indicative of an emergency situation. When the pet exhibits the undesirable behavior, the controller allows the stimulator to deliver a deterrent stimulus. However, when the event signal is received, the controller overrides the stimulator feature, preventing the delivery of the deterrent stimulus to the pet. Additionally or alternately, the collar may include a transmitter for transmitting a response to the remote device and a tracking chip for tracking the location of the pet during or after the event.
