Abstract: The present invention can provide a hotel reservation system that searches for vacant rooms at lower prices even after making a reservation. A method of hotel reservation that is performed by a server, comprises steps of: obtaining identification information corresponding to vacant rooms of hotels from external servers; obtaining reservation information of a vacant room from a user terminal; transmitting to the user terminal whether a reservation is confirmed; searching for a first vacant room available within a predetermined period from a check-in date until before the check-in date; and providing a reservation change notification through the user terminal if determining the vacant room with the lower price than that of the reserved vacant room by comparing a price of the reserved vacant room and a price of the first vacant room that is available within the predetermined period.

Abstract: A system and method for food traceability from a food service location to the consumer is disclosed. The method comprises marking food items with a received label as the food items are received. This received label identifies a storage location for the food item and generates traceability information for the food item. If the food item is not intended for storage, then the food item is transferred to a prep table and unique item information is generated for the food item. The food item can then be prepped for usage. During the prepping process, the food item's expiration date is verified, and a serial number is generated, and a use by date is calculated. If the prepped food item is to be served to a consumer, a label is generated with traceability information, and unneeded ingredients are re-purposed or properly disposed of.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing device sends, to an application on a user device, item information to cause the application to present a user interface including information about items available from a merchant. In response to receiving a user input via the user interface to select an item from the merchant, the computing device determines that a likelihood that the item will be unavailable exceeds a threshold. The computing device sends a communication that causes the application to present a plurality of selectable options to indicate actions to perform when the item is unavailable. The computing device receives a request to place the order for the item, and an indication of the action to perform. Abstract: Revising a delivery route for a user based on, at least, identified disruptions is provided. A computer device identifies delivery parameters for a delivery, wherein the delivery parameters include (i) a delivery route from a shipping location to a delivery location, and (ii) one or more delivery constraints. The computing device displays the delivery route on a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the GUI is configured to be interacted with by one or more users. The computing devices receives from a user via the GUI, a definition of an environmental disruption. The computing device generates a revised delivery route, wherein the revised delivery route modifies the delivery route to avoid the environmental disruption while satisfying the one or more delivery constraints. The computing device displays the revised delivery route on the GUI.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may match transportation requestor devices to transportation provider devices pre-request by using the same matching process employed by a matching engine that is capable of predicting transportation swaps and walks. Multiple matches may be showcased on user devices, and offline transportation providers may see an exact match to a requestor, with an ability to go online and accept the pre-request match. Additional techniques disclosed include the curation and presentation of offers using constraint space partitioning and adjustment of price and/or the presentation of offers based on real-time information to improve the efficiency and/or utilization of transportation provider resources.

Abstract: Provided are systems and processes for optimizing assignments of deliveries for perishable goods. In one aspect, a method is provided for pairing a set of created orders with a set of available couriers. The set of created orders may include orders confirmed by the merchant and the set of available couriers include couriers that are online with an active status. Feasible pairings are generated between each courier and each created order. Infeasible pairings are eliminated based on factors such as transportation mode. Possible routes for each pairing are generated and scored based on weighted factors. The scores are optimized to achieve a set of routes with a maximum score. The routes are then offered to the corresponding courier if the courier will arrive at or after the created order is completed by the merchant. A neural network may be implemented to recognize the optimal score for a given duration.

Abstract: Various embodiments described herein are generally directed to techniques for managing fraud rules and generating authentication directions according to location data from one or more client devices. Embodiments may include using a payment server informed by a client device application to manage and/or apply fraud rules for transactions. In embodiments, fraud rules may be managed based on location data provided by a client device application and/or location data associated with at least one transaction system. Abstract: Techniques for managing access to a restricted setup are described. In an example, presence of a user device is detected within a predetermined range of the control device. Based on detecting the user device to be within the predetermined range, access permission data is received from the user device, where the access permission data comprises at least one of ticket and biometric data for entering a restricted setup. The access permission data is then compared with an access data, where the access data comprises at least one parameter indicative of validity of the access permission data. Access to the restricted setup is accordingly managed based on the comparison.
