Abstract: A system and method for determining hydrogen production to provide energy to at least one vehicle that include determining that at least one vehicle is arriving towards a vehicle energy station. The system and method also include determining if the vehicle energy station includes a sufficient amount of hydrogen to refuel the at least one vehicle arriving towards the vehicle energy station. The system and method further include controlling production of hydrogen by the vehicle energy station if it is determined that the vehicle energy station includes an insufficient amount of hydrogen to refuel the at least one vehicle arriving towards the vehicle energy station.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that that may be implemented to detect impeded flow of cooling air within a chassis enclosure of an information handling system based on sensed air pressure and/or air pressure changes occurring within the cooling air flow while the system is actively running. The systems and methods may be further implemented to take one or more thermal management actions based on sensed air pressure within the chassis enclosure together with other optional sensed parameters (e.g., such as sensed temperatures and/or sensed user operating mode based on accelerometer and/or gyroscope sensor input).
Abstract: A method for controlling a technical process with a controller that generates a correcting variable, where a controlled variable approximately constitutes or forms a step function as a function of the correcting variable, in which in a first section of a value range of the correcting variable, the controlled variable forms a first plateau with values that are virtually the same, in a second section of the value range of the correcting variable, the controlled variable has a steep transition from the first plateau to a second plateau with values that are likewise virtually the same, and in a third section of the value range of the correcting variable, the controlled variable forms the second plateau. According to this invention, the step function is approximated by an approximation function in the form of a sigmoid function. An inverse function is produced for the approximation function.
Abstract: A remote jig control system may comprise a jig configured to place a car body to a particular position, a wireless magnetic sensor installed in the jig, a control panel wirelessly connected with the wireless magnetic sensor via first wireless communication to receive state information about the jig from the wireless magnetic sensor, a gateway connected with the control panel via the first wireless communication to receive the state information, a user terminal connected with the gateway via second wireless communication to receive the state information; and monitoring server configured to receive the state information from the gateway and store the state information, wherein the control panel is configured to be controlled through the user terminal to generate a jig control signal corresponding to the state information.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for economically optimal control of an electrical system. Some embodiments employ generalized multivariable constrained continuous optimization techniques to determine an optimal control sequence over a future time domain in the presence of any number of costs, savings opportunities (value streams), and constraints. Some embodiments also include control methods that enable infrequent recalculation of the optimal setpoints. Some embodiments may include a battery degradation model that, working in conjunction with the economic optimizer, enables the most economical use of any type of battery. Some embodiments include techniques for load and generation learning and prediction. Some embodiments include consideration of external data, such as weather.
Abstract: A method of allowing a remote client to control a garden plot is described. The garden plot may be provided with electronically controlled watering devices for remote watering of the garden plot and a 360 degree zoom camera for remote viewing of the gardening plot. The method may include an application server for receiving client instructions, one or more modules for optimizing a planting layout, handling watering instructions, handling camera instructions, handling harvesting instructions, and conducting a virtual and/or local farmer's market to maximize use of the harvest.
Abstract: A charge demand controller device for electric vehicles or the like, preferably for installation with an existing residential electrical control panel, connects between a main switch and the electrical control panel made to operate at a maximum amperage value. The device includes a controller unit that constantly monitors an actual total load current at the input line connector from the main switch, and selectively operates a load switch controlling an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) upon the actual total load current being above or below a trip value being a predetermined safety ratio of the maximum amperage value.

Correspondingly, the present disclosure also provides a central processing device including a household appliance control device. By utilizing embodiments of the present disclosure, the household appliances can be turned on or turned off automatically according to eyes of the user, and user experience is enhanced.

A processor is operative to provide a modulating signal to the modulating unit based on the maximum zone load. The modulating signal determines operation of the modulating boiler and the maximum zone load based on the plurality of duty cycles, time periods, and data related to thermostats. The zone controller may be further operative to: calculate a first duty cycle for the first zone based on a first time period; calculate a second duty cycle for the second zone based on a second time period; and determine a maximum zone load, which is a greater of the first duty cycle and the second duty cycle.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer based system for collecting, analyzing and presenting temperature information from sensors associated with an HVAC system. The system makes use of a processor for communicating with the plurality of sensors and obtaining temperature data reported by each of the sensors. A graphical user interface (GUI) module is provided which is embodied in a non-transient medium and configured to run on a computing device having a display screen. The user GUI module uses the temperature data, in real time, to generate a graph on the display screen. Abstract: The invention notably relates to a computer-implemented method for designing an outer surface of a composite part manufactured by molding a stack of material layers. The method comprises defining constant offset surfaces, a constant offset surface being a respective part of the outer surface which is to have a constant offset value relative to the reference surface, the constant offset value of a respective constant offset surface corresponding to the sum of the thicknesses of the material layers below the respective constant offset surface, and determining a final surface that corresponds to a tangent continuous connection of the constant offset surfaces. This provides an improved solution for designing an outer surface of a composite part.
Abstract: A liquid dispensing apparatus able to dispense liquid suitable for dispensor or as input according to desire of dispensor includes a liquid outlet, a valve, a liquid customizing module, a storage module, a determining module, a time calculating module, and a controlling module. The storage module stores rules as to liquid dispensable and a flow speed of liquid. According to the rules, the determining module determines liquid suitable for a dispensor or to answer an input requirement. According to the flow speed and dispensable amount, the time calculating module calculates a time for the liquid to flow. When preset condition is met, the controlling module turns the valve on. When a flow time of the liquid is reached, the controlling module turns the valve off.
