  • Publication number: 20210329100
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for supporting the use of remote procedure calls in microservices environments. A microservices (e.g., Helidon) environment provides a development framework that enables a software developer to create and use microservices. A remote procedure call (RPC) framework or component, such as, for example, a gRPC framework, enables client and server applications to communicate within the microservices environment, to build connected systems. In accordance with an embodiment, the gRPC framework enables communication between client and server applications associated with an in-memory data grid environment, such as, for example, an Oracle Coherence environment.

  • Publication number: 20210324035
Abstract: Tumor-specific T cell receptor (TCR) gene transfer enables specific and potent immune targeting of tumor antigens. The canonical cancer-testis antigen, NY-ESO-1, is not expressed in normal tissues but is aberrantly expressed across a broad array of cancer types. It has also been targeted with A2-restricted TCR gene therapy without adverse events or notable side effects. To enable the targeting of NY-ESO-1 in a broader array of HLA haplotypes, we isolated TCRs specific for NY-ESO-1 epitopes presented by four MHC molecules: HLA-A2, -B07, -B18, and -C03. Using these TCRs, we have developed an approach to extend TCR gene therapies targeting NY-ESO-1 to patient populations beyond those expressing HLA-A2.

  • Patent number: 11151578
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and system for processing a customer inquiry. The method includes obtaining multiple conversations. Each of the conversations includes multiple conversation entries associated with the conversation. The method also includes, for each of the conversations, generating a directed path from a start to an end of the historical conversation. The directed path includes multiple edges and vertices. Each of the edges represents a conversation entry or an API call associated with the conversation, and each of the vertices represents a state of the conversation. The method further includes generating a directed graph based on the generated directed paths and determining an optimized directed path based on the directed graph. The method also includes receiving a customer inquiry from a user device associated with a customer, and generating a response based on the optimized directed path.

  • Publication number: 20210317706
Abstract: A mule shoe or UBHO sub with internal flow control is provided. The device has a fluid flow controlling interior surface feature which produces a predictable fluid flow. Specifically, the device, which is an elongated hollow cylinder, has internal “rifling” to produce a swirling flow pattern within the device. This flow pattern reduces turbulence within the sub, and prevents washing out of the pin during heavy fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 11144643
Abstract: A code scanning system has a syntax generation component that receives source code and generates an abstract syntax tree file. The system includes a white list of permitted pure functions, and a black list of prohibited impure functions. In addition, the system includes a static code analyzer for performing static analysis of the source code. The static code analyzer includes a function analyzer that receives the AST file and identifies the functions. Each function is compared to the white list, and if it is present, marked as permitted in a static analysis file. If the function is not on the white list, it is compared to the black list. If it is present on the black list, it is marked as prohibited in the static analysis file. If the function is not on the white or black list, it is marked as “unknown” and subjected to manual analysis.

  • Publication number: 20210310734
Abstract: A lyophilization nest and method of using the same is described herein. In various embodiments, the lyophilization nest is configured to support one or more receptacles each supporting one or more substances within an interior space of the lyophilization nest. The interior space may be in fluid communication with the exterior of the lyophilization nest through one or more vent holes extending through a surface of the lyophilization nest. Each of the one or more vent holes have a corresponding sealing element configured to selectively form an air-tight seal within the vent holes, such that a controlled environment may be maintained within the interior space when the ambient conditions surrounding the lyophilization nest are not lyophilization conditions. The one or more sealing elements may be operable while the lyophilization nest is positioned within a sealed lyophilizer by depressing the sealing elements into corresponding vent holes to form the air-tight seal.
