Abstract: Embodiments described herein may be directed to systems, methods, apparatuses, devices, computer program products, computer-executable instructions, and/or applications for securely and anonymously accessing web resources and customizable attribution of identity. In accordance with the present disclosure, a user may inspect and analyze a webpage as well as the underlying source code from an “arm's length” using a secure analysis application to prevent exposure on the user's local machine. The secure analysis application may provide increased flexibility in masking and/or modifying the user's digital persona to external websites. Additionally, the secure analysis application may be integrated with a translation service to translate textual web content without the web content provider being alerted that a translation is taking place.

Abstract: A bone screw assembly includes a fastener including a shaft and a head disposed on the shaft. The fastener is configured to be anchored within a subject's bone. A receiving assembly is configured to be movably mounted on the head of the fastener. The receiving assembly includes a receiver disposable around at least a portion of the head of the fastener and defining a channel for receiving a rod member therein. A retaining ring is disposed within the receiver for holding the head of the fastener in the receiver. An insert is disposed in the receiver above the retaining ring. A saddle is disposed in the receiver above the insert. The saddle defines a cradle for seating the rod member in the receiver.

Abstract: An FD-SOI GC-edRAM gain cell includes: a write bit line terminal connected to a WBL; a read bit line terminal connected to a RBL; a write trigger terminal connected to a WWL, for inputting a write trigger signal; a read trigger terminal put connected to a RWL, for inputting a read trigger signal; at least one body voltage terminal connected to a respective body voltage; and multiple FD-SOI transistors. The FD-SOI transistors are interconnected to form a storage node for retaining a data signal. The bodies of at least two of the transistors are coupled in a single well to a body voltage terminal. The write trigger signal triggers writing an input data signal from the write bit line terminal to the storage node and the read trigger signal triggers outputting the retained data signal from the storage node to the read bit line terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed of a flat speaker containing a single permanent magnet, a yoke opposite the single permanent magnet, and one or more voice coil plates located between the single permanent magnet and the yoke. The one or more voice coil plates each comprise a bobbin and a coil arranged on one or both sides of the bobbin.

Abstract: A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming an opening therebetween for receiving a lifting member. The top deck includes at least one deck scoop area on an underside thereof. A thickness of the top deck is reduced in the at least one deck scoop area to reduce influence of top deck deflection on ability of the lifting member to pass through the opening between the top and bottom decks.

Chemical or structural information about the pharmaceutical product is determined by measuring a response of the sensor element (4) during the heating pulse. Abstract: The invention provides a method for easily producing an engine block for a combustion engine. The method includes: a) providing an engine block with an open water jacket opening; b) placing an insert in the water jacket opening; and c) fixing the insert in the water jacket opening by friction welding. The shape of the insert is adapted to the shape of the water jacket opening such that the insert, when being placed, at least partially closes the water jacket opening and bridges the distance between the outer wall and the cylinder wall, thereby supporting the cylinder wall against the outer wall of the engine block. An engine block produced accordingly shows the advantages of a closed deck engine block.

Abstract: A horticultural plant growing assembly includes a pair of casings, each with a bottom and a side wall. Each side wall includes an upper edge configured to engage one another to define a cavity between the casings. The plant growing assembly further includes a light system, and a plurality of frame members that are connectable together to form a frame, with the light system being attachable to the frame. The plant growing assembly is configurable into a packaged configuration and an assembled configuration. In the packaged configuration, the frame members and the light system are contained within the cavity, and in the assembled configuration the frame members are connected together to form the frame with the light system attached to the frame. One of the casings includes a shelf adapted to support a plant with the light system disposed above the shelf.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic bale strapping mechanism for dispensing, cutting, and securing strapping material around a bale of material being formed by a baling press. The automatic bale strapping mechanism can be an integral component or series of components to a conventional baling press. The bale strapping mechanism includes a draw and cutter assembly comprising a mobile draw carriage that draws strapping material a predetermined distance for cutting. The bale strapping mechanism can also include a dispensing mechanism which dispenses strapping material and an insertion assembly which carries strapping material through an extrusion chamber chute of a baling press. Methods of automatically drawing and cutting strapping material are also an aspect of the present invention.

Abstract: Replicas of content can be managed in storage systems. In one example, a storage system can determine an amount of load on the storage system based on values for performance metrics indicating a performance of the storage system. Next, the storage system can determine that the storage system is to have a target number of replicas of content based on the amount of load on the storage system. The storage system can then adjust itself to have the target number of replicas of the content.

Abstract: Implantable medical lead devices such as leads and lead extensions include conductors within the lead device body that interconnect proximal and distal electrical connectors and that have balanced clocked positions. The balanced clocked positions may be achieved by separating a first conductor from a second conductor by an adequate amount, where the first conductor has a length as measured from a given point along the lead to the end of the conductor that is most similar to the length of the second conductor as measured in the same manner. The balanced clocked position of conductor pairings based on similarity of length may provide benefits such as reducing the tendency of the lead to curve when one or more layers of the lead body are being injection molded around the conductors.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for measuring an analyte in a host. More particularly, the present embodiments provide sensor applicators and methods of use with pushbutton activation that implant the sensor, withdraw the insertion needle, engage the transmitter with the housing, and disengage the applicator from the housing, all in one smooth motion. Some embodiments contemplate engagement of the transmitter with the housing after release of the applicator.

Abstract: A per user system include for a virtual desktop includes a server connected to multiple users, wherein each server hosts multiple application sessions accessible by the users. An indexer hosted on the server can be configured to analyze a file on the server to identify a user that owns the file without input from the application sessions and to save the file to a virtual hard disk (VHD) of the identified user. The VHD can be temporarily saved on the server. A communications device can be connected to the indexer, where the communication device can send the VHD of the identified user from the server to a storage device. A processor can be on a second server, where the processor can retrieve the VHD of the identified user from the storage device and temporarily save the VHD of the identified user on the second server.

For example, systems for radiative cooling can include a top layer including one or more polymers, where the top layer has high emissivity in at least a portion of the thermal spectrum and an electromagnetic extinction coefficient of approximately zero, absorptivity of approximately zero, and high transmittance in at least a portion of the solar spectrum, and further include a reflective layer including one or more metals, where the reflective layer has high reflectivity in at least a portion of the solar spectrum.

Abstract: A technique is described for developing and using applications and skills with an autonomous vehicle. In an example embodiment, a development platform is provided that enables access to a developer console for developing software modules for use with an autonomous vehicle. Using the developer console, a developer user can specify instructions for causing an autonomous vehicle to perform one or more operations. For example, to control the behavior of an autonomous vehicle, the instructions can cause an executing computer system at the autonomous vehicle to generate calls to an application programming interface (API) associated with an autonomous navigation system of autonomous vehicle. Such calls to the API can be configured to adjust a parameter of a behavioral objective associated with a trajectory generation process performed by the autonomous navigation system that controls the behavior of the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: The present technology can move operating system folders into a sync folder of a cross platform content management system, and redirect the operating system to look for the OS folders in the sync folder. The present technology also provides an invariant checker to make sure that another application has not moved the OS folders after they have been placed in the sync folder, and provides solutions when the OS folders are moved out of the sync folder of the content management system. Additionally, when OS folders for multiple client devices are in the sync folder on the content management system, the present technology can provide a mechanism to make the content items in an OS folder on a first client device also sync into an OS folder on second client device.
