Abstract: A method of forming a shaped container may include providing a metallic preform. A first pressure may be applied to the metallic preform within a mold of a shaped container to produce a container part with a partially formed container shape. The container part with the partially formed container shape may then be at least partially annealed. A second pressure may be applied to the container part within the mold to produce a container part with a fully formed container shape.

Abstract: A catheter assembly includes a protective tip defining an interior chamber between its proximal and distal ends. A protective lubricious sleeve is positioned within the interior chamber. A catheter of the assembly is configured to be advanced proximally into and through the interior chamber to position at least a portion of the catheter within the protective sleeve, with the protective sleeve being retained upon the catheter as at least a proximal portion of the catheter exits the proximal end of the protective tip and is advanced through a body lumen. A second sleeve may be associated with the protective tip and configured to extend distally from the protective tip to remain outside of the body lumen during use and receive a more distal portion of the catheter.

Abstract: A process for receiving, from a computing device, a series of captured building images. The process continues by processing, in real-time, each building image in the series of captured building images to determine if each building image meets a minimum criterion, wherein the minimum criteria includes applicability to be used in constructing a specific digital multi-dimensional building model. The process continues by aggregating each image meeting the minimum criteria, determining when a base set of building images has been aggregated, wherein the base set of building images includes a threshold number images to model at least a partial multi-dimensional building model representing the series of captured building images, determining one or more facades present in the partial multi-dimensional building model, determining preliminary dimensions for one or more architectural features of the one or more facades and returning, incrementally (in real-time), the preliminary dimensions to the computing device.

Abstract: A system may be provided in which input is gathered from a user with input-output devices. The input-output devices may include physical keyboards, touch screen displays, data gloves, and other input-output devices. Control circuitry in the system may use a head-mounted display, a display on a keyboard, and a display in a tablet computer or other electronic device to display images. Virtual reality content may be presented to a user with the head-mounted display. The virtual reality content may include virtual documents with virtual text, virtual keyboards with virtual keys, and other virtual objects. A virtual keyboard may be overlaid on top of a physical keyboard or on top of a keyboard display or touch screen display in a tablet computer or other electronic device. Virtual key labels may be updated in response to user key press input and other input.

Abstract: A system, method and computer readable medium for providing translated web content is disclosed. The method on an information processing system includes retrieving a first content in a first language and parsing the first content into a plurality of translatable components. The method further includes generating a unique identifier for each of the plurality of translatable components of the first content and queuing the plurality of translatable components and corresponding unique identifiers for translation into a second language. The method further includes, for each of the plurality of translatable components, storing a translated component and an associated unique identifier corresponding to the translatable component, thereby storing a plurality of translated components and corresponding unique identifiers.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described that provide access to secured containers in a facility. The systems and methods unlock a lock securing the container in response to receiving identifying information for an individual seeking access to the secured container. If objects are removed from the secured container by the individual, the systems and methods can determine whether an authorization was received for the removed objects within a time period. If the authorization is not received, the systems and methods can issue an alert including the identifying information using an alert system.

Abstract: A transaction card may determine to initiate a mode associated with the transaction card. The mode may be related to locating the transaction card. The mode may be associated with outputting a first signal. The transaction card may determine a manner in which to configure the mode based on a set of parameters. The set of parameters may include a power level of the transaction card, or a strength of a second signal associated with a connection between the transaction card and a device associated with the transaction card. The transaction card may initiate the mode after configuring the mode. The transaction card may determine to terminate the mode based on an indication that the transaction card has been located.

The biomass-degrading enzymes produced by the isolate fungal cell and fermentation processes of the present invention may be used in a process to produce soluble sugars from biomass.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for improving competency of plant cells for bacterial-mediated transformation comprising contacting the plant cells with an effective amount of polyethylene glycol (PEG) for a period of time prior to transformation. The ability to store and maintain competent plant cells for transformation and tissue culture allows more efficient planning and execution of large-scale experiments by providing flexibility of peak production hours, or during unplanned disruptions in the production process. These methods are useful in preserving the viability of plant cells in various storage conditions, thus improving their competency for transformation and tissue culture.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for multi-pass duplicate identification using sorted neighborhoods. Data comprising a plurality of data records is received. Neighborhood records are generated by merging the plurality of data records with reference records stored in a remote data store. A resource identification field is assigned to each reference record. A pair distance, for each pair of neighborhood records having different resource identification fields, is determined by calculating a standard deviation of distances between each attribute of the pair scaled by a filled pairs quote value. Possible duplicate records are identified by evaluating each pair distance against a threshold, each possible duplicate having grouped attributes. Final duplicate records are identified by matching each group to a key.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of streaming interactive computer graphics from a server to a client device. The method includes the steps of: intercepting graphics instructions transmitted from an application destined for a graphical processing unit (GPU) at the server; processing the graphics instructions to generate graphics data at the server; generating index information for, at least, some of the graphics data at the server; transmitting the index information in place of the graphics data to a client device; extracting corresponding graphics data stored at the client device utilizing the index information; and rendering computer graphics at a graphical processing unit (GPU) at the client device using the corresponding graphics data. A system for streaming interactive computer graphics is also disclosed.
