Abstract: Various systems and methods of embedded authentication are described herein. One method of the preferred embodiment can include receiving at an authentication server a transaction token from a host website, the host website including an embeddable interface and prompting a user challenge by the authentication server at the embeddable interface. The method of the preferred embodiment can also include creating a signed authentication token in response to a successful user challenge, and transmitting the signed authentication token from the authentication server to the embeddable interface.

Abstract: Headphones can be configured such that back surfaces of the speaker housings can be coupled to form a loop enabling users to wear the headphones around their necks when the speakers are not in use. In various embodiments, faces of the respective speaker housings may comprise asymmetrical, complementary surfaces. In such embodiments, the users can distinguish between the speakers intended to correspond with respective right and left stereo channels by tactile feel. In some embodiments, the interlocking of the housing structures can be achieved by magnetic force to maintain the coupling when the speakers are not in use but can be decoupled by the user without undue effort. In some embodiments, the speaker housings are configured to constrain the housings to a specific orientation when mated.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for media session policy compliance auditing and enforcement using a media relay and session initiation protocol (SIP) signaling are provided. One method includes at a SIP policy server, receiving SIP signaling from a user agent client to obtain a policy for media session and, in response, generating at least one media session correlation token. At least a portion of the SIP policy server is implemented in hardware. The media session correlation token and the media policy are communicated to the user agent client and to a media relay. Identification information for the media relay is also communicated to the user agent client. At least a portion of the media relay is implemented in hardware. At the media relay, the media session correlation token is received and used to correlate and store usage information for the media session and to monitor compliance with the media policy.

Abstract: Various techniques are described for replacement heart valve implantation. In one example, a system includes a specialized conduction system tissue activation potential sensing device, configured for delivery to an intracardiac region, a specialized conduction system tissue activation detector circuit, configured to detect, using the sensing device, a specialized conduction system tissue activation potential, and a processor circuit, configured to use information about the detected specialized conduction system tissue activation potential to generate a heart valve placement indication.

Abstract: A shared environment is provided for electronic media devices such as game consoles which have Internet connectivity for receiving streaming video content. The shared environment is a virtual world which includes the video content as well as avatars which represent a group of users who have agreed to watch the content together, and scene elements which provide a realistic and eye-catching appearance. The users can enter commands to cause their avatars to emote, such as by cheering. The users can also explore the shared environment from different camera angles. A voice and/or video chat channel can also be enabled to allow the users to speak to and see one another. The video content is synchronized among the electronic media devices of the users so that the users' interactions are more meaningful as they can react to the same portion of the video content in real time.

Abstract: A protective cover having a front cover, a rear cover including a middle rear cover, an exterior rear cover, and a folding portion that connects the middle rear cover to the exterior rear cover, an articulable back that connects the rear cover to the front cover, a holding sheet that is attached to an inner surface of the exterior rear cover and is not attached to the middle rear cover, the holding sheet having bands located at corners of the holding sheet, the bands configured to be attached to corners of an electronic device for securing the electronic device to the protective cover, and an anti-slip pad attached to an inner surface of the front cover.

Abstract: An air-driven dual diaphragm pump comprises a pump body with a first air passage leading to a first air cavity with a first diaphragm, a second air passage leading to a second air cavity with a second diaphragm, and a reciprocating shaft which connects the first and second diaphragms. A diaphragm installation tool for the dual diaphragm pump comprises a plate which fits atop the pump body. A groove in a surface of the plate opposite from and nonadjacent to the pump body extends from the location of the first air passage to the location of the second air passage. A hole located within the groove at the location of either the first air passage or the second air passage extends through the plate. Pressurized air entering the pump body is redirected by the groove and the hole to always enter the first air passage, rather than the second, thereby slowly filling the first air cavity and positioning the second diaphragm for installation.

Abstract: Compounds that bind the glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor, methods of their synthesis, methods of their therapeutic and/or prophylactic use, and methods of their use in stabilizing GLP-1 receptor in vitro for crystallization of the GLP-1 receptor are provided. Certain compounds may have activity as modulators or potentiators with respect to glucagon receptor, GIP receptor, GLP-1 and GLP-2 receptors, and PTH receptor on their own or in the presence of receptor ligands such as GIP (1-42), PTH (1-34), Glucagon (1-29), GLP-2 (1-33), GLP-1 (7-36), GLP-1 (9-36), oxyntomodulin and exendin variants.

Abstract: An annotation utility can be invoked to annotate an application GUI. The annotation utility can present predefined annotation graphics based on a user's graphical annotations. The annotation utility can include textual annotations from the user. The application GUI may be presented on a display device in an application layer and annotations may be made an annotation layer that is separate from the application layer. The annotated application GUI may comprise a composite image of the application GUI overlain by the graphical and textual annotations.

Abstract: A system and method of calculating the pricing of credit based on engagement with a wellness programme includes monitoring the compliance of a person with a wellness programme and storing data relating to the compliance of the person with a wellness programme. The stored wellness data is used as one factor to calculate the pricing of credit wherein the higher the degree of compliance with the wellness programme the cheaper the pricing of the credit.

Abstract: A process is provided for recovering a first polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) from a feed mixture including at least one additional fatty acid (e.g., a second fatty acid (FA)). The process optionally comprises: performing a main step of chromatographic separation using an aqueous organic eluent and collecting a first stream of eluent enriched in the first PUFA and a second stream of eluent enriched in the second FA; subjecting the second stream of eluent to a partial concentration step to obtain a concentrated portion including the second FA, and a depleted portion comprising eluent, but depleted of the second FA. The process also includes: at least partially recycling the depleted portion for use in the main step of chromatographic separation.

Abstract: Portable noise generator apparatuses and methods may be used to mask sounds in a hunting area. A noise generator apparatus may have a portable housing configured to be used by a hunter in a hunting area where game may be present, a loudspeaker positioned in the housing, and an electronic noise generator held within the housing. The electronic noise generator may be used to output noise through the loudspeaker to mask sounds made by the hunter while in the hunting area, and the noise may comprise frequencies perceptible by a non-human species. The noise may include white noise and ambient noise that is capable of limiting or covering the sounds of the hunter perceived by game animals.

Abstract: Embodiments that relate to converting audio inputs from an environment into text are disclosed. For example, in one disclosed embodiment a speech conversion program receives audio inputs from a microphone array of a head-mounted display device. Image data is captured from the environment, and one or more possible faces are detected from image data. Eye-tracking data is used to determine a target face on which a user is focused. A beamforming technique is applied to at least a portion of the audio inputs to identify target audio inputs that are associated with the target face. The target audio inputs are converted into text that is displayed via a transparent display of the head-mounted display device.
