Abstract: A system for targeting advertising content includes the steps of: (a) receiving respective requests for advertising content corresponding to a plurality of mobile communication facilities operated by a group of users, wherein the plurality includes first and second types of mobile communication facilities with different rendering capabilities; (b) receiving a datum corresponding to the group; (c) selecting from a first and second sponsor respective content bases on a relevancy to the datum, wherein each content includes a first and second item requiring respective rendering capabilities; (d) receiving bids from the first and second sponsors; (e) attributing a priority to the content of the first sponsor based upon a determination that a yield associated with the first sponsor is greater than a yield associated with the second sponsor; and (f) transmitting the first and second items of the first sponsor to the first and second types of mobile communications facilities respectively.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for creating, exporting, viewing and testing, and importing custom applications in a multi-tenant database environment. These mechanisms and methods can enable embodiments to provide a vehicle for sharing applications across organizational boundaries. The ability to share applications across organizational boundaries can enable tenants in a multi-tenant database system, for example, to easily and efficiently import and export, and thus share, applications with other tenants in the multi-tenant environment.

Abstract: Novel transition metal complexes of iron, cobalt, ruthenium, osmium, and vanadium are described. The transition metal complexes can be used as redox mediators in enzyme based electrochemical sensors. In such instances, transition metal complexes accept electrons from, or transfer electrons to, enzymes at a high rate and also exchange electrons rapidly with the sensor. The transition metal complexes include at least one substituted or unsubstituted biimidazole ligand and may further include a second substituted or unsubstituted biimidazole ligand or a substituted or unsubstituted bipyridine or pyridylimidazole ligand. Transition metal complexes attached to polymeric backbones are also described.

Abstract: A method of assembling a mounting device for an electrical harness of a gas turbine engine is provided. The electrical harness has a wire bundle. The method includes providing a first shell and providing a second shell. The method further includes coupling the first shell to the second shell with the wire bundle disposed between the first shell and the second shell such that movement of the first shell and the second shell along the wire bundle is restricted.

Abstract: A system and a method for the management of addressable network resources (e.g., Web pages, electronic documents accessed via a Uniform Resource Identifier, etc.) within a network are provided. Specifically, embodiments of addressable network resource selection systems and methods are disclosed for managing the analysis and identification of optimal links between addressable network resources. A resource selection component enables pruning of undesirable pages on the basis of various usage metrics, including user depart rate. The resource selection component may then identify optimal linking strategies by determining one or more linking scores for remaining pages based on any of a number of different page usage metrics. In other embodiments, addressable network resource selection systems and methods may weight linking scores to emphasize desired outcomes, such as encouraging exploration of a network-based site or encouraging high aggregate sales figures.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to glass articles for use as a touchscreen substrate or cover glass article for use in a portable electronic device, particularly an aluminoborosilicate glass being substantially free of alkalis, comprising at least 55 mol % SiO2, at least 5 mol % Al2O3 and at least one alkaline earth RO component. The alkali-free aluminoborosilicate exhibits an Al2O3+B2O3 to RO mol % ratio which exceeds 1 and an Al2O3 to RO mol % ratio which exceeds 0.65. The aluminoborosilicate glasses disclosed herein exhibits high damage resistance as evidenced by a Vickers median/radial crack initiation load which is greater than than 1000 gf, as well as a high scratch resistance of at least 900 gf, as measured by the lack of the presence of lateral cracks when a load is applied by a moving Knoop indenter.

Abstract: A social networking website logs information about actions taken by members of the website. For a particular member of the website, the website generates socially relevant ads for the member based on the actions logged for other members on the website to whom the member is connected (i.e., the member's online friends). The advertiser associated with the social ad may compensate the social networking website for publishing the ad on the website. When presenting a member with a social ad, the website may optimize advertising revenue by selecting an ad from the received ads that will maximize the expected value of the social ad. The expected value may be computed according to a function that includes the member's affinity for the ad content and the bid amount. The technique is also applied for providing socially relevant information off the social networking website.

Abstract: A system for managing merchant payment transaction processing accounts is provided. The system includes a merchant initialization system that receives merchant account data from a user, such as to provide a quote to the merchant for payment processing. A transaction pricing system receives the merchant account data and provides transaction pricing data for payment transaction processing in response to the merchant account information. User access to one or more merchant account pricing algorithms that are used generate the merchant account pricing data in response to the merchant account data is restricted to a predetermined set of users, so as to prevent unauthorized users from obtaining access to the merchant account pricing algorithms.

Abstract: A system generates a score for a document based on best seller list information relating to the document, circulation information relating to the document, publisher sales information relating to a publisher associated with the document, author sales information relating to an author associated with the document, user behavior information relating to access of the document by users, and/or a link-based score of a web document relating to the document.

Abstract: Systems for displaying social content in search results may include receiving an input query for a subject; determining that the input query is a navigational query; identifying a first page on a social network for the subject; obtaining content from the first page; obtaining search results corresponding to the input query; identifying a second page for the subject from among the search results, where the second page is represented in the search results by a snippet of content associated with the second page; combining the content from the first page with the snippet to thereby produce combined content; and outputting data corresponding to the combined content.

Abstract: A method controls the power-transmission in a machine having a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a power source operatively coupled together in a powertrain. The method regulates operation of the CVT with a retarding power limit in order to limit the amount of retarding power transferable from the powertrain to the power source. The retarding power may be utilized to decelerate or decrease the speed of the machine. The method may register an operator input signal indicative of a deceleration event from a plurality of possible deceleration events. The deceleration event is compared to a lookup table to determine if the retarding power limit should be adjusted. The method may adjust the retarding power limit in accordance with the comparison.

Abstract: An extendable drip tray is provided to increase when needed the drip catchment area of the dish rack, to beyond the footprint or general perimeter of the dish rack. The extendable drip tray may be slidably supported by rails below the main body of the dish rack, to cover an area beyond the side of the dish rack body, thereby increasing the drip catchment area. Pivoted cup holders are provided along the outside walls of the main body of the dish rack, which can be pivoted when needed to extend an area beyond the perimeter of the body to provide supports for holding kitchen articles such as cups and glasses for drying. A wire rack is provided with pivoted support prongs for configuring the wire rack.

Abstract: An individualized time-to-live (TTL) is determined for a reputation score of a computer file. The TTL is determined based on the reputation score and the confidence in the reputation score. The confidence can be determined based on attributes such as the reputation score, an age of the file, and a prevalence of the file. The reputation score is used to determine whether the file is malicious during a validity period defined by the TTL, and discarded thereafter.

Abstract: A method for phishing attack management through Web site content rotation includes receiving a request for a variation of a component to be incorporated into a Web page from a requesting Web page rendering engine from over a computer communications network. The method also includes comparing the requested variation of the component to a currently configured variation of the component. Finally, the method includes returning both the requested variation of the component and an alert indicating a possible phishing attack in response to the request if the requested variation of the component differs from the currently configured variation of the component.
