  • Patent number: 12294623
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and application for digital media that allows users to share a media playlist and synchronize playing for all connected users. The user browses their device for media files to create a playlist, and then hosts the playlist over an existing local area network or creates a Wi-Fi hotspot. The playlist may be encrypted to provide a form of digital rights management. Other users are then prompted to download the playlist and send the host a calculated playback delay. Once all users have completed downloading the playlist the hosting user is prompted to press play, pushing timing information that takes into account the largest delay to all connected users via the active local area network, resulting in all devices playing the media in synchronicity for the duration of the playlist. Additional users may opt in during playback and use the timing information to synchronize their devices' playback.

  • Patent number: 12291319
Abstract: An electrically-propelled marine vehicle and method of making same, including providing a hull of the marine vehicle and mounting a submersible electric thruster to the hull. The thruster includes a stator assembly and a rotor assembly. The rotor assembly forms an internal cavity with a plurality of magnets arranged radially outwardly of the internal cavity. The stator assembly includes electrical windings that are disposed within the internal cavity of the rotor assembly. The thruster is configured to allow the internal cavity to be flooded with water when the thruster is submerged, and the electrical windings are covered by a protective barrier that prevents the flooded water from contacting the windings. The thruster of the marine vehicle is thus water cooled, and the electromotive forces provided by the windings generate sufficient thrust to propel the marine vehicle through the water.

  • Patent number: 12294488
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards configuring a client device with client configuration data based on client context data. The configuration data can include endpoints of various services to which the client can connect that are appropriate for the client device based on the client context data, along with dimension information (route key values) for connecting to each such service. For example, a roaming client device can be given an endpoint and dimension information to connect to a content service in the roaming region, with a different endpoint and dimension information for communicating user information to a home region to which the user is affiliated. This facilitates single hop/reduced latency for content requests, and compliance with home regulations via a single hop to the home service.

  • Patent number: 12290691
Abstract: An implantable stimulator device is disclosed for executing a stimulation program comprising a plurality of sub-programs, wherein the sub-programs are configured to be automatically sequentially executed by stimulation circuitry in the device. Control circuitry periodically stores log data to indicate where each sub-program is in its execution. If the device experiences an interruption that prevents the stimulation circuitry from executing the stimulation program, and upon receiving an indication that the stimulation circuitry can continue execution of the stimulation program, the control circuitry is configured to query the log data to determine a sub-program during which the interruption occurred, and using the log data, cause the stimulation circuitry to continue execution of the stimulation circuitry either at the beginning of the sub-program, or at a point during the sub-program when the interruption occurred.

  • Patent number: 12293637
Abstract: Gaming systems, gaming devices and methods that provide games that control volatility. In one embodiment, the gaming system disclosed herein enables a player to select values, or cells associated with values, that are displayed in a particular arrangement. The player selected values are distributed to other values or cells according to one or more predefined rules. In one embodiment, one or more of the player selectable values are progressive award values. At some point during the game, the gaming system randomly picks one of the remaining values that have not been selected and provides an award to the player based at least in part on the selected value.

  • Patent number: 12292941
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that identify and issue search queries expected to be issued in the future. A set of search queries that have been issued by multiple user devices can be obtained. For each query instance, contextual data can be obtained. A first query and its contextual data can be input to a model that outputs the query's likelihood of being issued in the future. The model can be trained using contextual data for training queries and a corresponding labels for the training queries. The learning model outputs the first query's likelihood of being issued in future, and this query is stored as a repeatable query if the likelihood satisfying a repeatability threshold. Subsequently, a stored repeatable query is issued upon a selection of a user selectable interface component and the search engine provides search results for the query.
