Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards configuring a client device with client configuration data based on client context data. The configuration data can include endpoints of various services to which the client can connect that are appropriate for the client device based on the client context data, along with dimension information (route key values) for connecting to each such service. For example, a roaming client device can be given an endpoint and dimension information to connect to a content service in the roaming region, with a different endpoint and dimension information for communicating user information to a home region to which the user is affiliated. This facilitates single hop/reduced latency for content requests, and compliance with home regulations via a single hop to the home service.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for intra-chip communication within tiled photonic interposers. A photonic interposer may rely on a combination of photonic lanes and electric lanes. For example, a photonic interposer may comprise a photonic integrated circuit (PIC) lithographically patterned with an array of photonic tiles, each photonic tile comprising an on-chip communication unit. The array of photonic tiles is arranged in rows and columns. A plurality of electric lanes place the on-chip communication units of photonic tiles of different rows in electrical communication with one another. A plurality of photonic lanes place the on-chip communication units of photonic tiles of different columns in optical communication with one another.

  • Publication number: 20240179410
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A method includes capturing a raw video stream input using one or more camera sensors of the UAV. The method includes quantifying characteristics of motion of the UAV as commanded by a user of the UAV. The method includes quantifying characteristics of total motion of the one or more camera sensors including the motion commanded by the user. The method includes subtracting the characteristics of the motion commanded by the user from the characteristics of the total motion to generate a residual. The method includes applying electronic image stabilization to the raw video stream based on the residual to generate a stabilized video stream output. Accounting for unintended UAV motion in EIS separate and apart from the total motion being experienced by the UAV can significantly enhance a UAV user's video viewing experience.
