  • Publication number: 20180358095
Abstract: Some embodiments include methods of storing and retrieving data for an RRAM array. The array is subdivided into a plurality of memory bits, with each memory bit having at least two memory cells. A memory bit is programmed by simultaneously changing resistive states of all memory cells within the memory bit. The memory bit is read by determining summed current through all memory cells within the memory bit. Some embodiments include RRAM having a plurality of memory cells. Each of the memory cells is uniquely addressed through a bitline/wordline combination. Memory bits contain multiple memory cells coupled together, with the coupled memory cells within each memory bit being in the same resistive state as one another.

  • Publication number: 20180357240
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may generate a query vector representation of an input (e.g., a question). The system may generate relevance measures associated with a set of key-value memories based on comparisons between the query vector representation and key vector representations of the keys in the memories. The system may generate an aggregated result based on the relevance measures and value vector representations of the values in the memories. Through an iterative process that iteratively updates the query vector representation used in each iteration, the system may generate a final aggregated result using a final query vector representation. A combined feature representation may be generated based on the final aggregated result and the final query vector representation. The system may select an output (e.g., an answer to the question) in response to the input based on comparisons between the combined feature representation and a set of candidate outputs.

  • Publication number: 20180355849
Abstract: A method for reducing noise of a wind turbine includes monitoring, via one or more sensors, a wind speed at the wind turbine. The method also includes determining, via a turbine controller, a nominal wind direction for producing rated power of the wind turbine. Further, the method includes determining a pitch angle of at least one rotor blade of the wind turbine. As such, the method includes determining a yaw offset for a nacelle of the wind turbine based on the wind speed and/or the pitch angle. Thus, the method further includes changing a yaw angle of the nacelle by the yaw offset when the wind speed exceeds a predetermined threshold so as to reduce noise of the wind turbine.
