    Abstract: The disclosure is directed towards polypeptide substrates and methods of synthesis thereof. Such substrates can be embedded with calcium ions from a number of ionic sources. These calcium-embedded, polypeptide substrates can be used to grow a variety of crystal structures including flower-shaped, onion-shaped, and needle-like crystal structures. As such, the disclosure is additionally directed towards methods of crystal growth from polypeptide substrates. Compositions of the disclosure can be used in a wide variety of medical and other applications.

The system may further comprise a detector connected to the carrier waveguide and an information handling system in communication with the quantum entangled photon source, the carrier laser, and the detector. The method may include broadcasting a probe particle from a transmitter into a formation, capturing the probe particle with at least one receiver after the probe particle has interacted with the formation, and measuring the probe particle during an interaction with the formation using an idler particle in a detector.

    Abstract: A transdermal drug delivery (TDD) system is provided accelerating the TDD process through the combination of (1) a micropump, (2) microneedles, and (3) nanoencapsulation. A 3D printed shape memory alloy (SMA) triggered micropump combined with polymeric nanoparticles loaded with a drug can be pumped through integrated microneedles. An SMA spring wire is used to actuate a loaded pumping spring to drive an elastic membrane into a chamber. The system's performance characterized an average membrane speed of 0.28 m/s. The efficacy of the system showed an almost 100% improvement for the total percentage of deposited polymeric nanoparticles over that of the untreated solution. The rapid response and demonstrated efficacy can be aimed for transdermal insulin injection.

For example, a process can include establishing a path tracing session associated with path tracing (PT) probe packets from a PT source node of an IPv6 network fabric. A PT probe packet can be received with a first IPv6 Destination Options Header with Path Tracing Option (DOH-PT) header that encodes path tracing information of the PT source node and indicates respective path tracing information for each PT midpoint node along a path from the PT source node to a PT sink node of the IPv6 network fabric. The received PT probe packet can be updated to include a second DOH-PT header that encodes path tracing information of the PT sink node. An updated PT probe packet includes the first and second DOH-PT headers and can be encapsulated with an additional IPv6 header corresponding to forwarding information of a collector node.
