  • Patent number: 11593209
Abstract: A method for targeted repair of a hardware component in a computing device that is part of a cloud computing system includes monitoring a plurality of hardware components in the computing device. At some point, a defective sub-component within the hardware component of the computing device is identified. In addition to the defective sub-component, the hardware component also includes at least one sub-component that is functioning properly and a spare component that can be used in place of the defective sub-component. The method also includes initiating a targeted repair action while the computing device is connected to the cloud computing system. The targeted repair action prevents the defective sub-component from being used by the computing device without preventing sub-components that are functioning properly from being used by the computing device. The targeted repair action causes the spare component to be used in place of the defective sub-component.

  • Patent number: 11593775
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for authenticating a mobile user via an authentication method determined based on a token level associated with the action being completed. An authentication token is created corresponding to the token level and the authentication token is sent to the mobile device. This authentication token may be used to authenticate subsequent actions and engage various services to complete the actions using application programming interfaces. The authentication token stored on the mobile device obviates the need for a user to authenticate multiple times to complete actions requiring a similar token level. The system may authenticate the identity of the mobile user using various authentication methods.

  • Patent number: 11594141
Abstract: A distributed airborne acoustic anti-drone intelligence system (DAAADS) which senses an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) approaching a protected site, predicts trajectories of the UAV which intersect the protected site and identifies the type of the UAV. When at least one of the trajectories intersect the protected site, an alarm and predicted trajectories are transmitted to an air defense unit, which neutralizes the UAV. Debris generated by the neutralization is tracked and trajectories of the debris are predicted. When a trajectory of the debris is predicted to intersect with the protected site, an alert is transmitted to the protected site.

  • Patent number: 11593210
Abstract: Example implementations relate to consensus protocols in a stretched network. According to an example, a distributed system includes continuously monitoring network performance and/or network latency among a cluster of a plurality of nodes in a distributed computer system. Leadership priority for each node is set based at least in part on the monitored network performance or network latency. Each node has a vote weight based at least in part on the leadership priority of the node. Each node's vote is biased by the node's vote weight. The node having a number of biased votes higher than a maximum possible number of votes biased by respective vote weights received by any other node in the cluster is selected as a leader node.

  • Patent number: 11593682
Abstract: A system is configured to detect a small, but meaningful, anomaly within one or more metrics associated with a platform. The system displays visuals of the metrics so that a user monitoring the platform can effectively notice a problem associated with the anomaly and take appropriate action to remediate the problem. A first visual includes a radar-based visual that renders an object representing data for a set of metrics being monitored. A second visual includes a tree map visual that includes sections where each section is associated with an attribute used to compose the set of metrics. Via the display of the visuals, the techniques provide an improved way of representing a large number of metrics (e.g., hundreds, thousands, etc.) being monitored for a platform. Moreover, the techniques are configured to expose useful information associated with the platform in a manner that can be effectively interpreted by a user.

  • Patent number: 11591902
Abstract: Fiber optic sensors are described for detecting the operational position of a downhole moveable device. In one example, an electric or magnetic field is emitted into the wellbore and interacts with the moveable assembly, thereby producing a secondary electric or magnetic field. The secondary field is detected by a fiber optic sensor which produces a corresponding response signal. The response signal is then processed in a variety of ways to determine the operational position of the moveable device. In another example, the operational position is determined using fiber optic temperature or acoustic sensors. A temperature or acoustic vibration reading is acquired before and after actuation of the moveable device. The two readings are then compared to determine the operation position of the moveable device.

  • Patent number: 11594126
Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving monitoring of traffic flows. In one embodiment, a method includes aggregating perception data associated with a road network from information sources to a server over a network. The method also includes generating a graph structure from the perception data in association with a neural network model. The graph structure is an incomplete representation of the road network in view of missing data. The method also includes completing the graph structure using the neural network model that forms a graph model of the traffic flows to de-noise the graph structure according to road constraints between two points in the road network. The method also includes communicating the graph model of the traffic flows to a vehicle to navigate traffic in the road network.

  • Patent number: 11593912
Abstract: A method includes generating a set of sub-images of a subsurface formation based on measurement values acquired by a plurality of sensors corresponding to one or more signals that have propagated through the subsurface formation, wherein each of the set of sub-images correspond to one of the plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors are on a tool in a borehole, wherein each of the plurality of sensors are at different spatial positions with respect to each other. The method also includes generating a combined image by aligning the set of sub-images based on the measurement values, wherein the aligning of the set of sub-images is independent of acceleration of the tool during tool motion.
