  • Publication number: 20200340161
Abstract: A pin cup that may be disposed within a shell, with the shell moving along a vertical axis to accommodate an open or closed position. In an open position the shell may lower, exposing the pins in the pin cup. In a closed position the shell may raise, so as not to disturb the pins in the pin cup, but to allow the lid to cover the pins in a position above the pins. A disclosed embedment (100) may comprise a lid (110) a shell (120) a pin cup (130) and other components. Outer surfaces of a pin cup may interact with inner surfaces of a shell so as to allow the pin cup to lock in a lower position, travel to an upper position, lock in the upper position and be toolessly removed from the shell.

  • Publication number: 20200342073
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating digital media tasks, authorizing digital media associated with the digital media tasks, and evaluating the digital media is provided. In an embodiment, a server computer creates a digital media task and sends it to one or more mobile computing devices. When the server receives digital media from a mobile computing device, the server computer determines whether it is authorized to provide other computing devices with access to the digital media. Determining whether the server computer is authorized to provide other computing devices with access to the digital media may comprise determining whether the server computer has current waivers for the digital media or whether supervisory computing device has provided authorization.

  • Publication number: 20200343409
Abstract: A method for using a photon source, which includes a semiconductor structure having a first light emitting diode region, a second region including a quantum dot, a first voltage source, and a second voltage source, is provided. The method includes steps of applying an electric field across said first light emitting diode region to cause light emission by spontaneous emission, wherein the light emitted from said first light emitting diode region is absorbed in said second region and produces carriers to populate said quantum dot; and applying a tuneable electric field across said second region to control the emission energy of said quantum dot, wherein the light emitted from the second region exits said photon source.

  • Publication number: 20200338299
Abstract: Methods of an apparatus determine a quantity of a body of water in a humidifier such as by indirect measurement. The quantity of water may be determined by measuring one or more properties or characteristics, from which the quantity of water may be inferred. Characteristics of a flow of air, the humidifier, and/or the body of water may be measured. The characteristics may be, for example, pressure, flow rate, noise, vibration, temperature, electrical or mechanical. These may be measured by one or more sensors, which may be located in the humidifier, RPT device, air circuit or the patient interface. The methods described may have advantages, for example in being able to detect the quantity of water without requiring sensors to be present in a disposable component, and in some cases, without introduction of additional sensors.

  • Publication number: 20200342470
Abstract: This disclosure covers methods, systems, and computer-readable media that identify a topic variance from digital survey responses and provide a variety of functionalities to a digital survey system based on the topic variance (i.e., by modifying a digital survey reporting structure based on the topic variance). In certain embodiments, the disclosed systems analyze one or more sets of digital survey responses to generate one or more response models. Furthermore, the disclosed systems can analyze the one or more response models to identify a topic variance (e.g., an emerging topic, a change in trend for a topic, and/or a change in sentiment for a topic). Upon identifying a topic variance, the disclosed systems modify a digital survey reporting structure and/or generate notifications based on the identified topic variance.

  • Publication number: 20200342850
Abstract: Techniques are described for invoking and switching between chatbots of a chatbot system. In some embodiments, the chatbot system is capable of routing an utterance received while a user is already interacting with a first chatbot in the chatbot system. For instance, the chatbot system may identify a second chatbot based on determining that (i) such an utterance is an invalid input to the first chatbot or (ii) that the first chatbot is attempting to route the utterance to a destination associated with the first chatbot. Identifying the second chatbot can involve computing, using a predictive model, separate confidence scores for the first chatbot and the second chatbot, and then determining that a confidence score for the second chatbot satisfies one or more confidence score thresholds. The utterance is then routed to the second chatbot based on the identifying of the second chatbot.

  • Publication number: 20200343891
Abstract: A push button switch assembly for a vehicle includes a housing having a plurality of walls that collectively define an inner space, and an elastic button that is moveable between a first unactuated position and a second unactuated position. A plate is positioned in the housing and an actuator is pivotable between a first position and a second position. The actuator includes a magnetic element. When the elastic button is in the first unactuated position, the magnetic element biases the actuator into the first position, and when the elastic button is moved to the section actuated position, a force applied to the elastic button is transmitted to the actuator to pivot the actuator to the second position.

  • Publication number: 20200339284
Abstract: A routine maintenance procedure performed in respect of a wheel of an aircraft landing gear is disclosed. Consumable brake lining material is integrated with the wheel. Re-treading or replacing the wheel tyre and inspecting or replacing the consumable brake lining material tyre are performed at the same successive intervals as part of the routine maintenance procedure. The sum volume and mass of brake material present on the aircraft may thus be reduced. Brake material providing for the demands of a maximum energy rejected take-off may be provided separately. The wheel may be made in one or two parts from carbon-fibre composite material. At least some of the brake material may be provided on an outwardly facing planar surface of the wheel.

  • Publication number: 20200344140
Abstract: A device may detect a communication session between a user equipment and a network. The device may cause, based on detecting the communication session, a set of queries to be transmitted to a plurality of control plane nodes of the network. The device may determine, based on a set of responses associated with the set of queries, respective characteristics for corresponding control plane nodes, of the plurality of control plane nodes. The device may determine, based on the respective characteristics, scores for the corresponding control plane nodes, wherein the scores are representative of respective capabilities of the corresponding control plane nodes to be used for the communication session. The device may select, based on the scores, a control plane node, from the plurality of control plane nodes, for the communication session. The device may configure the control plane node to perform a control operation for the communication session.
