  • Publication number: 20100249869
Abstract: This application discusses, among other things, a header assembly for coupling a medical electrical lead to a medical stimulating device including a header having a capture mechanism within a bore of a lead retention device. In an example, when the lead retention device is retracted from the bore, the capture mechanism prevents the device from falling out. In another example, the header assembly has a vent disposed within the bore of the lead retention device that permits unrestricted flow of air when the lead retention device is retracted from an engagement surface.

  • Publication number: 20100242848
Abstract: A liquid bird feeder provides a liquid container having a sealable top opening and a bottleneck extension at its other end, and a liquid tray having a well adapted to receive the bottleneck extension and at least one feeding port. The sidewall of the well is provided with at least one drain hole and the sidewall of the bottleneck extension with at least one port. The container and bottleneck extension are rotatable within the well to selectively align and misalign the port with the well drain hole to respectively open and close the drain hole upon rotation of the container. In an alternate embodiment, the bottleneck extension is fitted with a collar rotatable with the container. The collar is received in the liquid tray well and includes the at least one port. A liquid flow path is formed in the liquid tray for each feeding port to reduce the volume of nectar in the tray at any given time.

  • Publication number: 20100246822
Abstract: The invention provides a system and a method for securely providing a secret data from a sender to one or more receivers. The receiver uses a sequence of functions originating from a hierarchy of functions to migrate the secret data from an input transform space to an output transform space using a mathematical transformation under control of one or more seeds. The seeds are provided to the receiver by the sender. The sender conditionally allows the receiver to obtain the secret data by controlling the seeds.

  • Publication number: 20100244588
Abstract: A system according to the present invention including a main utility distribution panel which through corresponding circuit breakers, directly powers facility power line circuits which remain powered continuously, and an ‘off-peak’ utility distribution panel being powered by the main utility distribution panel through a contactor (relay, switch, etc.) controlled by a 24 hour timer, and the ‘off-peak’ utility distribution panel in turn powers facility power line circuits which may be de-energized to provide zero power draw from the main utility distribution panel during a selected time period as provided by the timer, which generally corresponds to periods when the facility is unoccupied and/or the equipment and appliances are turned off.
