  • Patent number: 11239182
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) package incorporating controlled induced warping is disclosed. The IC package includes an electronic substrate having an active side upon which semiconducting dies and functional circuits have been lithographed or otherwise fabricated, leading to an inherent warping in the direction of the active side. One or more corrective layers may be deposited to the opposing, or inactive, side of the semiconducting die via thin film deposition (TFD) instrumentation and techniques in order to induce corrective warping of the electronic substrate back toward the horizontal (e.g., in the direction of the inactive side) to a desired degree.

  • Patent number: 11214390
Abstract: A stack of products such as pouches are formed in a product bucket, pushed into a stack guide bucket and from there into a carton. A stack tamp descends over the stack, engages and confines it downwardly during stack pushing from product bucket and through stack guide bucket into a carton. Multiple product buckets, stack guide buckets and cartons move downstream during cartoning, and are respectively aligned in a cartoning station. Reciprocal containment blades hold the stack in respective cartons prior to flap closing.

  • Publication number: 20210343868
Abstract: A thin-film transistor comprises an annealed layer comprising crystalline zinc oxide. A passivation layer is adjacent to the thin-film transistor. The passivation layer has a thickness and material composition such that when a dose of radiation from a radiation source irradiates the thin-film transistor, a portion of the dose that includes an approximate maximum concentration of the dose is located within the annealed layer. The annealed layer has a thickness and threshold displacement energies after it has been annealed such that: a) a difference between a transfer characteristic value of the thin-film transistor before and after the dose is less than a first threshold; and b) a difference between a transistor output characteristic value of the thin-film before and after the dose is less than a second threshold. The thresholds are based on a desired performance of the thin-film transistor.

  • Publication number: 20210228933
Abstract: An adjustable exercise machine for performing resistance exercises comprises a base and an upper frame including front and back end stationary exercise platforms, and a movable exercise platform that reciprocates between the stationary platforms. A plurality of biasing members is selectable by an exerciser via selector knobs to generate a bias force against the movable platform. A plurality of pivotable lift supports are connected between the base and the upper frame. Front and back actuators are connected between the base and the lift supports by lifting yokes to selectively raise and lower the front and back ends of the machine. The movable platform may be connected to move along the exercise machine by trolley wheel assemblies. A plurality of travel limit decelerators mounted on the rails engage and rapidly decelerates the movable platform as it reaches its limits of travel on the rails.

  • Patent number: 11020627
Abstract: An exercise machine ergonomic handle system for providing hand-holds for the performance of exercises with reduced flexion and/or extension of the hand and wrist and reduced ulnar and/or radial deviation so as to reduce injury and allow application of full strength to the exercise machine. The exercise machine ergonomic handle system generally includes a longitudinally extending frame, a carriage that moves upon a first longitudinal portion of the frame, and at least one pair of ergonomic handles positioned on a second longitudinal portion of the frame. The ergonomic handles rotate about an axis to prevent flexion and/or extension, and can be positioned at a width and/or angle that reduces ulnar and/or radial deviation.
