  • Patent number: 12026095
Abstract: In accordance with various aspects of the invention, a recall transaction is issued if a tag filter entry needs to be freed up for an incoming transaction. Directory entries chosen for a recall transaction are pushed into a fully associative structure called victim buffer. If this structure gets full, then an entry is selected from entries inside the victim buffer for the recall.

  • Patent number: 12028475
Abstract: Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for allowing a user to switch between wearable items that have been paired or associated with an electronic device, such as a smartphone, are described. In one embodiment, the wearable items automatically detect a removal of a first wearable item from a user's body and an attachment of a second wearable item to the user's body. Messages from the wearable items are transmitted to the electronic device to allow the electronic device to switch the active wearable item from the first wearable item to the second wearable item. The switch can occur while the electronic device is in a locked state, and the electronic device can synchronize the second wearable item with data received from the first wearable item. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Patent number: 12025901
Abstract: An electrophoretic medium comprises a plurality of core-shell particles and a non-polar fluid. The core-shell particles comprise an organic pigment particles core and a shell comprising a metal oxide layer and a silane layer. The metal oxide layer may have a thickness of 0.4 to 2 nm. It may be formed using a fluidized bed reactor by inserting the organic pigment into the reactor as a powder bed, contacting the powder bed with a gaseous stream comprising a metal oxide precursor and an inert gas, and contacting the powder bed with a gaseous stream of a reagent and an inert gas. The silane layer is formed from a silane compound comprising a first functional group, wherein the first functional group reacts with the metal oxide.

  • Patent number: 12026575
Abstract: A computer system and method for identifying and monitoring animals in a confined space. A tracking apparatus is provided in proximity to the confined space that defines a plurality of separate individual tracking regions for the confined space. Each of a plurality of animals to be disposed in the confined space is associated respectively with a detection component operable to identify and detect a temperature of an animal it is associated with when detected by the tracking apparatus. Data is received in a computer monitor system from a detection component when detected by the tracking apparatus in the confined space wherein the received data includes motion and temperature data relating to an animal when located in the confined space. • Patent number: 12026716
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method of facilitating detection of document-related fraud, fraudulent document detection rules may be generated or updated by training a machine learning program using image data corresponding to physical documents, and fraud determinations corresponding to the documents. The documents and fraudulent document detection rules may correspond to a first type of document. Image data corresponding to an image of one of the physical documents may be received, where the physical document corresponds to the first type of document. By applying the fraudulent document detection rules to the image data, it may be determined that the physical document is, or may be, fraudulent. An indication of whether the physical document is, or may be, fraudulent may be displayed to one or more people via one or more respective computing device user interfaces.

  • Patent number: 12026104
Abstract: Space in a memory is allocated based on the highest used precision. When the maximum used precision is not being used, the bits required for that particular precision level (e.g., floating point format) are transferred between the processor and the memory while the rest are not. A given floating point number is distributed over non-contiguous addresses. Each portion of the given floating point number is located at the same offset within the access units, groups, and/or memory arrays. This allows a sequencer in the memory device to successively access a precision dependent number of access units, groups, and/or memory arrays without receiving additional requests over the memory channel.

  • Patent number: 12022963
Abstract: A gravity-feed dispenser for storage and dispensing of bulk material includes a compartment. A gate separates the compartment from a spout. The gate is operable to open and close to selectively permit bulk material to pass from the compartment into the spout. An actuator is movable relative to the spout and mechanically connected to the gate such that movement of the actuator operates the gate to reversibly open and close. Movement of the actuator concurrently reversibly positions the actuator to a dispensing position below a dispensing end of the spout, wherein dispensed bulk material passes through the spout and the actuator.

  • Patent number: 12026532
Abstract: A data parallel pipeline may specify multiple parallel data objects that contain multiple elements and multiple parallel operations that operate on the parallel data objects. Based on the data parallel pipeline, a dataflow graph of deferred parallel data objects and deferred parallel operations corresponding to the data parallel pipeline may be generated and one or more graph transformations may be applied to the dataflow graph to generate a revised dataflow graph that includes one or more of the deferred parallel data objects and deferred, combined parallel data operations. The deferred, combined parallel operations may be executed to produce materialized parallel data objects corresponding to the deferred parallel data objects.
