Abstract: Methods and systems for automating communication and interaction with voice mail systems are described. The systems comprise a platform capable of handling multiple types of communications with multiple users and systems. The platform contains a browser, one or more servers for handling communications between the platform and user devices that are external to the platform, a speech engine for converting text to speech and vice versa, a chat server, an email server, a text server, a data warehouse, a scheduler, a workflow/rules engine, a reports server, and integration APIs that can be integrated with 3rd party systems and allow those systems to be integrated with the platform. The platform is linked to multiple users (and their devices or systems) through a communications network.

Abstract: A method, system, computer program product, and related business methods for concisely communicating real-time business information to end users in an enterprise network is described. An integrated business system having at least ERP and CRM functionality is accessed via a browser-based user interface. A plurality of portlet windows are simultaneously displayed within a browser window, each portlet window occupying a relatively small area therein. The portlet windows are selected and arranged according to a customizable user profile for each user, and include reporting portlets displaying up-to-date business results retrieved from the integrated business system. Each reporting portlet further comprises report access links associated with at least one of the business results that, when selected by the user, invoke browser-based displays of up-to-date business data underlying those business results.

Abstract: The present invention is an article of construction formed from an article adhesively-bonded to a layering material through (a) reactive coupling of a functionalized nitroxide or (b) the adhesion of components in a polymer matrix made from or containing a polymer, an organic peroxide, and a functionalized nitroxide. The initial article may be expanded. It may also be polar or nonpolar. Similarly, the layering material may be polar or nonpolar. Other embodiments of the present invention are described, including other articles and methods for preparing the articles.

Abstract: A process is disclosed for notarizing document, by a client in the presence of a notary, comprising the steps of registering the notary, the client and the document, from a local workstation coupled to a central office, to provide for assigning at least one respective encryption key for identifying each of the notary, the client and the document to be notarized; associating in the central office, the respective encryption keys of the client with the notary and with the document; generating a transaction code, based on the step of associating the respective encryption keys, for authorizing execution of the document to provide the notarizing; executing the document; and embedding selected ones of the respective encryption keys together with a notary seal in the document.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a device which is intended to deliver and maintain reduced pressure to body surfaces for application of reduced pressure wound therapy (RPWT) also known as negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). During application of this type of therapy, a substantially airtight seal is formed around a section of tissue to be treated. This seal is formed by a dressing which provides fluid communication from a section of tissue to a reduced pressure source. Disclosed herein is a dressing system which is configured to enhance usability and functionality of this dressing. First, the system may be configured to allow full rotation of the fluid communication conduit to the reduced pressure source along the axis substantially normal to the dressing. Second, the system may be configured to include a one-way valve to prevent backflow of any drainage fluids. Third, the system may be configured with transparent windows covered by opaque flaps to allow inspection through the dressing.

Abstract: Compounds of formula I: wherein variables A1, A2, B, m, n, J, R4, G1, G2, G3 and Y are as described herein, which are antagonists of CGRP receptors and which are useful in the treatment or prevention of diseases in which the CGRP is involved, such as migraine. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and the use of these compounds and compositions in the prevention or treatment of such diseases in which CGRP is involved.

Abstract: A resistance-stabilizing additive to an electrolyte for a battery cell in an implantable medical device is presented. At least one resistance-stabilizing additive is selected from a group comprising an electron withdrawing group, an aromatic diacid salt, an inorganic salt, an aliphatic organic acid, an aromatic diacid, and an aromatic monoacid.

Abstract: An IP telephony gateway and a user interface resource enable a subscriber to place an outgoing call according to the voice over IP (H.323) protocol to a destination party from a user interface session of an intelligent dial tone service such as voice activated dialing, and resume the user interface session upon completion of the outgoing call with the destination party. The IP telephony gateway establishes a user interface session for the subscriber with the user interface resource across a first Real Time Protocol (RTP) data stream. The user interface resource initiates a second RTP data stream to a destination party in response to reception of a prescribed command from the subscriber. Although an RTP bridge connecting the first and second RTP data streams can be maintained by the user interface resource, the user interface resource may also use the Empty Capability Set feature in the H.

Abstract: A process for the coating of substrates comprising insertion of a substrate into a process oven, dehydration of the substrate, withdrawal of a metered amount of one or more chemicals from one or more chemical reservoirs, vaporizing the withdrawn chemicals in one or more vapor chambers, and transfer of the vaporized chemicals into a process oven, thereby reacting with the substrate. The supercharger has a pair of rotors driven by the engine operable to move air to the engine. Gates associated with the rotors control the amount of air and pressure of the air moved by the rotors to the diesel engine.

Abstract: A bottom-loading multi-axial bone anchor apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a receiver member, a crown member, a bone anchor and a retaining member. The receiver member defines an upper opening and a lower opening, which may form part of the same opening, a channel, and a groove. The crown member and bone anchor are loaded into the lower opening of the receiver member, and the retaining member fits around the bone anchor and into the groove in the receiver member. The bone anchor is capable of multi-axial positioning with respect to the receiver member. An elongated member is placed in the channel of the receiver member, contacting the crown member, and a compression member is applied via the upper opening. The compression member presses down on the elongated member, which presses down on the crown member and locks the bone anchor between the crown member and the retaining member.

Abstract: Devices and methods for performing dynamic sampling of a back electromotive force (BEMF) measurement are provided. A device has hardware, including a voice coil motor (VCM) for receiving a VCM command signal and a correction circuit, for obtaining the VCM command signal and a coil voltage measurement from the hardware, where the correction circuit removes a transient voltage measurement due to a change in the VCM command signal from the coil voltage measurement and outputs an estimated BEMF measurement.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for allowing access to developed applications via a multi-tenant on-demand database service, in a controlled environment. These mechanisms and methods for providing such access can enable embodiments to provide additional control over the development process as well as the access of such developed applications. The ability of embodiments to provide such additional control may lead to an improved application development framework, etc.

Abstract: A system includes a master device and a first memory module having a plurality of integrated circuit memory devices and a plurality of integrated circuit buffer devices that operate in first and second modes of operation (bypass mode). In a first mode of operation, a first memory module provides read data from the plurality of integrated circuit memory devices (via a integrated circuit buffer device) on a first signal path to the master and a second memory module simultaneously provides read data from its plurality of integrated circuit memory devices (via another integrated circuit buffer device on the second module) on a third signal path coupled to the master device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing portions of a provisional signature scheme are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises creating a provisional signature by performing an operation on a message and completing the provisional signature to create a final signature on the message. Such a scheme may be used for server assisted signature schemes, designated confirmer signature schemes and blind signature schemes.
