  • Publication number: 20190039855
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for stretching wireline cables are provided. Tension is applied to a wireline within an engagement zone, either while the wireline is static or moving. The tension may be stabilized using a capstan. The wireline may be heated, coated, cleaned, stabilized, bent, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 9072787
Abstract: Stable vitamin oil-in-water emulsions and methods of making those emulsions are described herein. The emulsions may be used to make beverage products that include fat-soluble vitamins. The emulsions may also be used in beverage products that are colored and which maintain color stability for an extended period of time.

  • Patent number: 5333572
Abstract: A rotary animal feeder that slowly, periodically discharges feed in response to temperature changes. Preferably the feeder is hung from a tree over an animal trail. A cylindrical pail stores a quantity of feed to be dispensed. Feed is drawn downwardly by gravity to an activator assembly comprising a discharge tube in fluid flow communication with the pail interior. A plurality of radially spaced apart discharge orifices are formed in the tube. A convex floor adjustably, coaxially secured within the tube mounts a rotary impeller proximate the discharge orifices. A bimetallic spring beneath the floor torsionally drives the impeller in response to temperature changes. Feed contacting the convex floor is slowly deflected outwardly towards the discharge orifices both by the shape of the convex floor plate and impeller contact. As the temperature changes the impeller slowly rotates, and feed is gently urged toward and through these orifices.

  • Patent number: 4676130
Abstract: A carriage on the frame of a lumber edger is driven on tracks longitudinally from one limit to another. Two motors are arranged with their corresponding output shafts coaxial and facing each other. A saw blade is mounted to each shaft. The motors are mounted to laterally extending tracks on the carriage and actuators are provided for shifting the motors, and hence, the parallel saw blades toward and away from each other so that when the saws are translated longitudinally they will rip the irregular edges from a board. A chain conveyor runs through the machine frame and transports the boards to a position under the saws with the length of the boards directed longitudinally. When a rough board arrives under the saws the lines along which the saws will cut are marked on the board with parallel laser light beams. The saws are shifted laterally until the light lines are just inside of both rough edges.

  • Patent number: 4084143
Abstract: A transformer mounting assembly is disclosed for mounting a plurality of current transformers on a wire. A pair of parallel mounting plates are positioned normal to one another with one of the mounting plates having first and second current transformers mounted on the same side of the mounting plate at the opposite end portions and the engaging mid portions of the mounting plates having a third current transformer mounted thereat with the third current transformer being at the other side of the mounting plate from that of the first and second current transformers. The opposite end portions of the other mounting plate have clamps mounted thereon with the clamps being contoured to releasably clamp the assembly to a neutral wire with the other mounting plate extending along the wire.
