  • Patent number: 10843368
Abstract: An alignment tool is disclosed for connection to a work component and for use in aligning the work component with a work piece to establish a repeatable set up for cutting or routing of the work piece, and wherein the alignment tool provides for parallel and square alignment of the work component relative to first and second edges of the work piece that are perpendicular to each other. Use of the parallel and square alignment tool aligns the work component for an operation parallel to the second edge of the work piece and the operation may be conveniently repeated on further work pieces without need to measure and mark the work pieces. Optional use of first and second parallel and square alignment tools along opposed second and third edges of a work piece that are perpendicular to a first edge provides for greater accuracy for operations having a greater length.

  • Patent number: 10434678
Abstract: An alignment tool for connection to a work component. The alignment tool includes a body, a retention member that extends upward from the body, a clamp assembly spaced from the retention member and being connected to the body, a first reference surface that extends upward from the body and is located between the retention member and where the clamp assembly is connected to the body. The clamp assembly has a fastener that extends toward the retention member and past the first reference surface of the body, wherein the clamp assembly is movable to draw a distal end of the fastener in a direction toward where the clamp assembly is connected to the body and the fastener is biased to move the distal end of the fastener toward the first reference surface.

  • Patent number: 10363681
Abstract: An alignment tool for connection to a work component and for use in aligning the work component with a work piece, wherein the work component has at least a first reference surface that extends in a first direction. The alignment tool includes a body having at least a first reference surface that extends in the first direction and having at least one work piece guide surface that extends in a second direction that is perpendicular to the at least first reference surface, and a clamp assembly connected to the body and extending in the second direction past the at least first reference surface of the body, wherein when the alignment tool is to be connected to the work component, the clamp assembly is movable to engage the work component and to draw together and hold in abutting engagement the respective first reference surfaces of the alignment tool and work component.

  • Patent number: 8740165
Abstract: Embodiments of organizers for point-of-sale systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an organizer includes a planar surface, a mounting bracket, a pole, and an adjustable arm. The pole illustratively fits within apertures in the planar surface and the mounting bracket, and the adjustable arm is connected to the pole and to a monitor mounting plate. In another embodiment, an organizer includes a surface, a mounting bracket, and a monitor support. The surface is configured to be positioned above a cash drawer and is held in place utilizing a front lip and side lips. The mounting bracket is configured to be positioned below the surface and behind the cash drawer. The monitor support passes through apertures in the surface and the mounting bracket, and is configured to position a monitor relative to the cash drawer.

  • Publication number: 20130228492
Abstract: Embodiments provide packaging systems and methods that may be easy to open, have a measure of theft deterrence, may be manufactured from a minimum number of materials, and/or are relatively easy to recycle. One packaging/display system includes multiple package elements in an upright orientation between side walls of a support tray, without edges of the package elements extending into the side walls for support. In some cases a support tray includes multiple support tabs located along at least one side wall to engage a front and/or back surface of a package element in a supporting configuration. Support tabs may optionally be spaced along side wall inner surfaces in an alternating configuration. An optional removable cover may be configured to fit about package elements within a support tray to provide an integrated packaging assembly for transport. Methods for packing and displaying products are also provided.
