  • Patent number: 9071645
Abstract: Techniques for credential auditing are provided. Histories for credentials are evaluated against a principal credential policy for a user and an enterprise credential policy for an enterprise as a whole. An audit trail is produced within a report for the histories. The report indicates whether compliance with the principal and enterprise credential policies occurred and if not at least one reason is provided as to why compliance was not met within the histories.

  • Patent number: 9067693
Abstract: An ephemeris refinement system includes satellites with imaging devices in earth orbit to make observations of space-based objects (“target objects”) and a ground-based controller that controls the scheduling of the satellites to make the observations of the target objects and refines orbital models of the target objects. The ground-based controller determines when the target objects of interest will be near enough to a satellite for that satellite to collect an image of the target object based on an initial orbital model for the target objects. The ground-based controller directs the schedules to be uploaded to the satellites, and the satellites make observations as scheduled and download the observations to the ground-based controller. The ground-based controller then refines the initial orbital models of the target objects based on the locations of the target objects that are derived from the observations.

  • Patent number: 9070433
Abstract: A technique to generate timing control for an SRAM circuit operating with dual power supplies is provided. A voltage signal is generated by a programmable local clock buffer that receives power from a first voltage level. The voltage signal is shifted higher by a level shifter that receives power from both the first voltage level and a second voltage level. The voltage signal is delayed by a delay clock chopper circuit that receives power from the second voltage level. The delay clock chopper circuit includes a programmable pulse width variation (PWVAR) circuit that varies the pulse width of the voltage signal. The PWVAR circuit receives power from the second voltage level. The voltage signal drives a global bitline of the SRAM. The voltage signal has timing sensitive to both the first and second voltage levels. The voltage signal has its pulse width sensitive to the second voltage level.

  • Publication number: 20150175832
Abstract: The present invention is a composition comprising a) a stable aqueous dispersion of polymer particles functionalized with structural units of a phosphorus acid monomer or a salt thereof and; b) a water-soluble polymer functionalized with structural units of a sulfonic acid monomer or a salt thereof as well as a method comprising mixing the stable aqueous dispersion of the phosphorus acid functionalized polymer particles with the sulfonic acid functionalized polymer, and TiO2. The composition of the present invention is useful as a coatings formulation that provides improved hiding over phosphorus acid functionalized binders that do not include the water-soluble polymer. Alternatively, the same hiding benefit is seen at lower phosphorus acid concentration when the sulfonic acid functionalized polymer is present.

  • Publication number: 20150175031
Abstract: A hoverboard is described. The hoverboard includes four hover engines each including a motor. The motor rotates an arrangement of magnets to induce eddy currents and generate magnetic lift which causes the hoverboard to hover in the air. The hoverboard can be tilted to propel it in a particular direction. The hover engines can each be coupled to a tilt mechanism which is coupled to a flexible rider platform. When rider platform is flexed via rider induced forces, the hover engines can be tilted individually to provide translational forces.

  • Publication number: 20150176749
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a thermally insulative material comprising PTFE, including an expanded PTFE (ePTFE), having a thermal conductivity of less than or equal to 25 mW/m K at atmospheric conditions. In one embodiment, the insulative material of the present invention includes aerogel particles and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The insulative material may be formed into articles that are hydrophobic, highly breathable, possess high strength, and which may be used in non-static applications such as dynamic flexing and the like. The insulative articles are flexible, stretchable, and bendable. Also, the insulative material has little to no shedding or dusting of fine particles. Aerogel particles having a particle density of less than about 100 kg/m3 and a thermal conductivity of less than or equal to about 15 mW/m K at atmospheric conditions (about 298.5 K and 101.3 kPa) may be used in the insulative material.

  • Publication number: 20150178147
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and system for monitoring a first Error Correcting Code (ECC) device for failure and replacing the first ECC device with a second ECC device if the first ECC device begins to fail or fails. In a step, an exemplary embodiment performs a loopback test on an ECC device if a specified number of correctable errors is exceeded or if an uncorrectable error occurs. In another step, an exemplary embodiment replaces an ECC device that fails the loopback test with an ECC device that passes a loopback test.
