  • Publication number: 20220365292
Abstract: Optically connecting two transceivers requires the transmitting portion of one transceiver matches with the receiving portion of the other transceivers. This requires that the polarity of the fiber optic connectors (attached to one another in a jumper) that connect the two transceivers is correct. Maintaining the correct polarity in the field can be confusing, time-consuming, and difficult to achieve. Not to mention that the installers need to make sure they have the correct number and polarity of the jumpers. This is further complicated when the fiber optic connectors are VSFF and have a key on a short side of the fiber optic connector. A system that involves an A-to-B patch cord and an opposed key adapter solves each of these issues. Only one type of patch cord (A-to-B) and one type of adapter is needed. With these components, an installer can connect the two transceivers without any mistakes.

  • Patent number: 11499201
Abstract: A process for the production of direct reduced iron (DRI), with or without carbon, using hydrogen, where the hydrogen is produced utilizing water generated internally from the process. The process is characterized by containing either one or two gas loops, one for affecting the reduction of the oxide and another for affecting the carburization of the DRI. The primary loop responsible for reduction recirculates used gas from the shaft furnace in a loop including a dry dedusting step, an oxygen removal step to generate the hydrogen, and a connection to the shaft furnace for reduction. In the absence of a second loop, this loop, in conjunction with natural gas addition, can be used to deposit carbon. A secondary carburizing loop installed downstream of the shaft furnace can more finely control carbon addition. This loop includes a reactor vessel, a dedusting step, and a gas separation unit.

The animal-sourced additive is preferably the only animal-sourced ingredient of the compound. The scented compound preferably does not contain gelatin. The animal-sourced additive may be urine. The animal-sourced additive may be blood. The compound is targeted toward a particular type of animal by inclusion of a specific animal-sourced additive. The compound is useful for attracting the targeted specific animal for hunting and/or game observation and tracking, and for use in training hunting dogs, for example when loaded into a ball. Other than the animal-sourced additive, the scented compound and its ingredients are free of gelatin, which is a collagen taken from animal body parts.

  • Publication number: 20220358126
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a message comprising an origin, a destination and a relationship type for a relationship between the origin and the destination. The message further includes a payload. A first node is created in a graph database for the origin and a second node is created in the graph database for the destination. A relationship is set between the first node and the second node in the graph database based on the relationship type. A node is created in the graph database for the message while preventing the payload from being stored in the graph database. A relationship is created between the first node and the node for the message. The message, including the payload, is stored in a searchable datastore separate from the graph database.
