  • Publication number: 20160292169
Abstract: A method and system for utilizing application specific location information for presenting search results on a mobile device. The method and system includes generating an application specific context on a mobile device responsive to receiving content and location information by an application. The application can generate content and execute on the mobile device. Searching by the application is limited based on the location information and according to the application specific context. The search results are presented ordered by a ranking based on the application specific context and the location information.

  • Publication number: 20120062059
Abstract: This invention Angular Momentum Engine turns angular centripetal momentum to linear centripetal momentum. As an analogy picture a small hand held battery operated clock in your hand being turned counter-clockwise at one revolution per minute. The clock battery is then remotely turned on so that the minute hand starts to turn also at one revolution per minute but in the opposite direction clockwise. If you look at the clock the minute hand will appear to be standing still even though it is moving at 1 revolution per minute clockwise. In this patent the hand held clock is replaced by the planetary drive and the minute hand by the flywheel. [FIG. 1 FIG. 2] Forces from a few to millions of pounds of linear momentum can be generated.

  • Publication number: 20110010394
Abstract: A client identifier (ID) and a client-specific data field identifier for each item of client-specific data associated with a first client of a set of clients are received at a processor associated with a software as a service (SaaS) module. An extensible markup language (XML) formatted document for storing the client-specific data, including a set of client-specific data elements, each element referenced by one of the client-specific data field identifiers, is created for the first client. The XML formatted document is inserted into an XML formatted column of a row in a database table, where the database table is shared among a set of clients and stored in a shared database. The client ID is inserted into a structured query language (SQL) formatted data column of the row in the database table.

  • Publication number: 20070147401
Abstract: A system for communicating telecommunication information includes a memory, packetization modules, and a telecommunication interface module. The memory stores subscriber profiles associating each of several subscribers with a telecommunication interface. The packetization modules receive data packets from a broadband network and extract telecommunication information associated with a subscriber from the data packets. The telecommunication interface module communicates the telecommunication information to a telecommunication network using a telecommunication interface associated with the subscriber.

  • Publication number: 20060285546
Abstract: A voice gateway (64) includes an input port (70) that receives a voice signal from an unbundled analog line (62) coupled to a Class 5 switch (52). The voice signal is converted to a digital format by an analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converting unit (76). The voice signal is placed into a compressed format by a compressing/de-compressing unit (80) using a selected one of a plurality of compression ratios. The voice signal is placed into a transport frame by a packetizing/de-packetizing unit (84) according to a selected packet format. The voice signal is multiplexed with other voice signals by an output port (88). The output port (88) places the voice signal onto a selected one of a plurality of output lines in order to transport the voice signal in its transport frame to one of an office customer premises (12) and a residence customer premises (14).

  • Publication number: 20040019595
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for externalization, publication, and tracking of knowledge entries in a knowledge database. When a knowledge entry document is created, it is routed to a reviewer's work queue. If the reviewer approves the knowledge entry, it is automatically published to the knowledge base. If the reviewer rejects the knowledge entry, it is sent back to the author. The author may then make changes and resubmit the knowledge entry document or delete the knowledge entry from the system. When a knowledge entry document is published to the knowledge base, it is time stamped with an expiration date. When the knowledge entry expires, it is routed to the original author's revalidation queue. If the author accepts the knowledge entry, the expiration date is reset and the knowledge entry document is returned to the knowledge base. If the author rejects the knowledge entry, it is routed to the author's work queue.

  • Publication number: 20030169292
Abstract: A method for dynamically filling web lists, including creating, in an HTML document as a Select element in a Forms element, a dynamic list element, wherein the dynamic list element comprises an HREF parameter, assigning, to the HREF parameter in the dynamic list element, a network address comprising the location of a list in a central repository, and displaying, through a user interface on a web enabled device coupled for data communications to the central repository, a listbox for the Forms element. The method also including selecting the listbox through the user interface, and retrieving, from the location in the central repository identified by the network address, the list from the central repository.

  • Patent number: 6212483
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method of providing diagnostic information to an operator of a work machine. Whether the work machine control system is in diagnostic messaging mode is determined. At least one diagnostic fault parameter descriptive message is read from a memory. The diagnostic fault parameter descriptive message is provided to the operator. Preferably, diagnostic messaging mode is determined by whether the work machine control system is in service mode and whether the diagnostic text function is selected. Advantageously, a component identification number descriptive message is provided in a first character display and a failure mode indicating number descriptive message is provided in a second character display of an operator interface.
