  • Publication number: 20250138732
Abstract: Technologies for hardware-based memory access telemetry tracking are described. A receiver circuit includes analog and digital circuitry. A memory controller includes a processing pipeline with a first processing stage to update and record a first number of access counts targeting a logical grouping of memory locations and a second processing stage to continuously sort the first number of access counts and their associated address tags corresponding to the logical grouping of memory locations, keeping only the access counts with unique address tags.

  • Publication number: 20250029649
Abstract: A system and method for performing a low overhead refresh management of a memory device. The method includes receiving, by a controller from a dynamic random access memory (DRAM) device via a feedback interface, a signal indicative of an occurrence of a row hammer event. The method includes determining, by the controller based on the signal, whether to schedule a refresh event. The method includes sending, by the controller responsive to determining whether to schedule the refresh event, a first command to the DRAM device to execute a refresh operation.

  • Publication number: 20240425686
Abstract: Provided is climate-smart process that combines a use of photosynthesis with remediating air, soil and water and a production of bio-products in which captured carbon is sequestered. The process includes one or more bio-crops that are converted into a climate-smart biomass. The climate-smart biomass captures an average of 7 tons of CO2/acre/year. During certain processes to make bio-products, the climate-smart biomass is heat treated between about 400° to about 500° C. for between about 30 to about 180 minutes under non-oxygenated conditions and 15% of carbon in the climate-smart biomass is consumed, leaving at least about 85% of the carbon in the climate-smart biomass.

  • Patent number: 12128960
Abstract: A tailgate support cable assembly includes a cable and a retainer portion attached to an end of the cable. The retainer portion rotatably attaches the end of the cable assembly to a vehicle tailgate. The retainer portion includes a tailgate retention portion, an object contact portion extending from the tailgate retention portion, and a sensor engagement portion extending from the object contact portion. The retainer portion is structured to rotate with respect to the tailgate responsive to contact between the object contact portion and a foreign object positioned in a seam between the tailgate and another portion of the vehicle, during a closing movement of the tailgate. Rotation of the retainer portion brings the sensor engagement portion into contact with (and activates) a touch sensor mounted on the tailgate. Activation of the touch sensor causes a stoppage and/or reversal of tailgate movement, thereby preventing “pinching” of the foreign object.

  • Publication number: 20240103758
Abstract: A buffer/interface device of the memory node may read and compress blocks of data (e.g., pages). When a memory buffer device compresses a block of data, it may keep storing the original uncompressed version in the original memory location (e.g., physical memory page). In this manner, an access directed to the block of data may be satisfied with the uncompressed version retrieved from the original memory location (e.g., physical memory page) without having to perform a decompression operation. As memory space is needed for other purposes (e.g., for an uncompressed copy of a recently decompressed block or as host allocated memory occupies more space), the original uncompressed versions of blocks (pages) that have not been accessed relatively recently (e.g., relative to other kept original uncompressed versions) may be evicted and replaced by other blocks of data (e.g., either compressed or uncompressed).

  • Patent number: 11872927
Abstract: A system for controlling a function of a vehicle by activation of a vehicle button includes a vehicle component configured to receive a signal and to perform an electrical or mechanical function in response to receiving the signal. The system further includes a physical structure located on an exterior of the vehicle and having an integrated button such that at least one of manual actuation of or physical proximity to the physical structure initiates a button selection event. The system further includes an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the vehicle component and to the integrated button and configured to identify the button selection event and to transmit the signal to the vehicle component in response to identifying the button selection event to cause the vehicle component to perform the electrical or mechanical function.

  • Patent number: 11785465
Abstract: A host device can establish a verified session with a wearable device. The host device can determine whether the verified session is in progress. In accordance with a determination that the verified session is in progress, the host device can provide a user interface to request confirmation that the identifier is to be provided to the wearable device. The host device can receive an input at the user interface and, in accordance with a determination that the input indicates a confirmation that the identifier is to be provided to the wearable device, the host can identify a user identifier to provide to the wearable device, and transmit the user identifier to the wearable device.

  • Publication number: 20230159731
Abstract: Agricultural feed stock is heat treated to form a heat-treated biomass for industrial use as an alternative replacement of conventional additives and fillers. The agricultural feedstock is selected from the group consisting of biomass sorghum, wood, nut sells, soybean hulls, and a combination thereof. The heat-treated biomass is made into fine particles and used as fillers or additives to be combined with plastic to create a polymeric composite with high heat deflection, good mechanical, and superior barrier properties. The polymeric composite provides an alternative to conventional polymeric composites which contain virgin plastic materials and industrial additives, fillers, and colorants. Incorporation of heat-treated biomass into recycled or reclaimed plastic provides improvement to diminished properties of these materials.
