Patent number: 11935188Abstract: A system and method is provided for constructing a labeled and dimensioned multidimensional (e.g., 3D) building model from building object imagery (e.g., ground-level imagery). The method begins by retrieve building object imagery, the building object imagery collected based on directed capture with a mobile device. The method continues by constructing a scaled multi-dimensional building model, the scale based on sizing of at least one selected architectural feature. The method continues by identifying architectural elements within facades of the multi-dimensional building model. The method continues by determining dimensions of at least one of the architectural elements, the dimensions based on the scale. The method continues by determining dimensions (e.g., area) of at least one of the architectural elements. The method continues by labeling each identified architectural element with at least an identifier and by labeling at least one of the architectural elements with the determined dimensions.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2023Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Hover Inc.Inventors: Derek Halliday, Antonio Carlos Marques da Silva Junior, Roberto Klein, Adam J. Patent number: 7765650Abstract: A hose clamp kit having a coil of perforated band material marked at regular intervals to enable detaching of a desired length of band, and a housing assembly with a worm drive near one end of a housing plate which has near the opposite end one or more protrusions and a detent. One end of the length of band is held in place by the detent, while the perforations engage or snap onto the protrusions. The other end encircles a hose, engaging the worm-gear housing for tightening. A protrusion may be rounded, may be formed by pushing up the plate material residing between two slots in the plate, and/or may be sized for an interference fit into a perforation. The detent may be a raised tab, bent horizontal to the plate and in the direction of the protrusions. A hose clamp and a method of clamping are also described.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2007Date of Patent: August 3, 2010Assignee: Epicor Industries, Inc.Inventors: Bruce D. Bowater, Eduardo Manglicmot, Antonio J. Marques, John Mazzetti

Patent number: 5560087Abstract: The laterally secure clamp assembly for use with clamps that cannot be force fit according to the present invention comprises a flexible band containing a cut-out proximate one end, and a series of elongated notches at the opposite end, a worm screw and a housing adapted to be secured to the band. The housing comprises a pair of planar tabs enclosing the band. Each tab comprises at least one abbreviated finger, extending from each tab and oriented at an angle in the direction of the screw. The fingers are oriented prior to assembly so that when the tabs are bent over to secure the band, the angled fingers abut the cut-out, preventing lateral force deformation of the housing.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 1995Date of Patent: October 1, 1996Assignee: Stant CorporationInventor: A. Terminating centrifugation on the basis of the mathematically simulated motions of solute band-edges
Patent number: 5370599Abstract: A method of controlled centrifugation including automatic determination (before or during a centrifugation run) of the time to reach "completion" (within specified limits, depending on the criteria adopted) of a centrifugal separation. By simulation, the sample solute concentration distributions are determined and examined periodically. Centrifugation completion is deemed to have been reached based on certain predetermined criteria relating to spatial changes in the sample solute concentration distributions between successive examinations. The positions of the end points of the concentration distributions or band edges of the sample solutes (transitions from regions of sample solutes to regions of no sample solutes) are determined to facilitate resolving spatial changes of the concentration distributions.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1993Date of Patent: December 6, 1994Assignee: Beckman Instruments, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey J. Patent number: 5171206Abstract: Method and apparatus for controlling the angular velocity of a centrifuge tube containing a solute and a solvent to obtain desirable sedimentation behavior and/or diffusion behavior of the solute within the tube during centrifuge operations. In one embodiment, the angular velocity is maintained at a near-maximum value until just before precipitation of a solute component is reached within the tube. The tube angular velocity is then reduced as a function of time so that critical precipitation is approached but never occurs in the tube as the centrifuge process continues. In other embodiments, the net flux of solute particles into a given volume element of the centrifuge tube, or the ratio of net fluxes of two or more solutes into a predetermined volume elements, is caused to be a prescribed function of time. One application of this method is minimization of the time required to obtain a desired density gradient separation by a centrifuge process.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 1991Date of Patent: December 15, 1992Assignee: Beckman Instruments, Inc.Inventor: Jeffrey J.
