  • Publication number: 20200282217
Abstract: A catheter system configured for delivering a neuromodulation therapy, includes a first therapeutic element positionable in a first target vessel selected from the group of blood vessels consisting of the superior vena cava, left brachiocephalic vein, right brachiocephalic vein, azygos vein or azygos arch, and a second therapeutic element in a second target vessel selected from the group of blood vessels consisting of the superior vena cava, left brachiocephalic vein, right brachiocephalic vein, internal jugular vein, azygos vein or azygos arch. The system and associated method deliver therapeutic energy to at least one parasympathetic nerve fiber external to the first target vessel using the first therapeutic element, and deliver therapeutic energy to at least one sympathetic nerve fiber external to the second target vessel using the second therapeutic element.

  • Patent number: 6049393
Abstract: A method for increasing resolution in a image printed by an ink jet printer is provided. The method selectively removes painted pixels from a bit map to ensure that no two adjacent pixels are painted by the same ink jet. The method removes painted pixels in a manner that preserves the edges of characters and other features. The resulting processed bit map ensures that an individual print head jet always addresses at least one non-painted/blank pixel after each painted pixel it fills. This allows the speed of the receiving surface relative to the print head to be increased to thereby allow for greater resolution in the printed image for a given print time.

  • Patent number: 5764252
Abstract: Gray scale ink jet printing method and apparatus produce a high quality image having varying color intensities. This is achieved by mixing a colored phase change ink with varying amounts of a clear phase change ink base, thereby producing multiple gray scale levels of each color. The mixing either can be performed prior to placement of the phase change ink in the printer, or can be performed within the printer to produce different levels of color intensity during the printing process.

  • Patent number: 5410202
Abstract: A wound electric-motor stator (1) equipped with a device for the temporary storage of the wires (6) of the winding of the stator. This storage device consists, on the one hand, of the stator itself (5) and, on the other hand, of an auxiliary piece (10) provided with a catch (12) for catching on the stator and with a hole (13), for fastening the end of the wires (6) of the stator. These wires (6) can be wound by driving the auxiliary piece in rotation.
