  • Patent number: 10639485
Abstract: An operating-room cable-assembly for an electrical-stimulation system includes a lead connector with a lead passageway defined in a housing. Contacts disposed in the housing engage terminals of a lead when the lead is operationally-inserted into the lead passageway. A first biased tab is disposed in a first tab lumen defined in the housing. The first biased tab has a first end exposed to an outer surface of the housing and an opposing second end exposed to the lead passageway. The first biased tab moves to an unlock position and is biased to return to a lock position. When in the lock position, the first biased tab is biased to exert a force against an inserted lead sufficient to resist axial movement of the lead relative to the lead connector.

  • Patent number: 10490833
Abstract: A fuel quality analyzer for detecting contaminants in a fuel supply includes an anode flow field plate defining a first fuel flow field channel and a fuel inlet port, a cathode flow field plate defining a second fuel flow field channel and a fuel outlet port, a polymer electrolyte membrane between the anode and cathode flow field plates, a first electrode between the anode flow field plate and the polymer electrolyte membrane, and a second electrode between the cathode flow field plate and the polymer electrolyte membrane. The second electrode has a higher platinum loading than the first electrode. A reservoir volume is defined by the anode and cathode flow field plates. At least a portion of the polymer electrolyte membrane extends into the reservoir volume. The reservoir volume is configured to retain water to humidify the polymer electrolyte membrane.

  • Patent number: 10365346
Abstract: A small, ultra-light-weight star tracker for space applications uses an out-of-field rejection filter to reduce the physical size and mass of the star tracker by effectively eliminating the need for a sun shade. The out-of-field rejection filter combines a converter for converting randomly polarized light to p-polarized light with an angular selectivity filter that can reject out-of-field p-polarized light. The underside of the angular selectivity filter can be used to reflect a calibrated light source into the optical path.

  • Publication number: 20190029295
Abstract: This invention refers to a procedure for reducing inorganic (heavy metals) and organic (aflatoxins, molds, etc.) contaminants in high-protein vegetable matter, mainly originating from rice. Applying said procedure to raw vegetable matter results in the obtainment of derivatives presenting levels of these contaminants significantly lower than the legal limits set by health authorities. Following the procedure set out in this invention, high-quality protein derivatives are obtained usable for vitamin and nutritional supplements, milk formula for babies, sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, animal feed ingredients, etc.

  • Patent number: 9922198
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method groups two or more servers in a share group. The method then tracks how many rights to use a particular hardware module type are owned and in use by each of the servers. If a first one of the servers needs to activate an inactive one of the particular hardware module type, but does not own an unused right to use the particular hardware module type, the method then i) requests a second one of the servers to inactivate one of its hardware modules, thereby freeing a right to use the particular hardware module type, and ii) claims the freed right of the second server for use by the first server. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
