  • Patent number: 12233286
Abstract: Described herein are methods for beam station delivery of radiation treatment, where the patient platform is moved to a series of discrete patient platform locations or beam stations that are determined during treatment planning, stopped at each of these locations while the radiation source rotates about the patient delivering radiation to the target regions that intersect the radiation beam path, and then moving to the next location after the prescribed dose of radiation (e.g., in accordance with a calculated fluence map) for that location has been delivered to the patient.

  • Publication number: 20250032818
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for patient setup and patient target region localization for the irradiation of multiple patient target regions in a single treatment session. Virtual localization is a method that can be used to register a patient target region without requiring that the patient is physically moved using the patient platform. Instead, the planned fluence is updated to reflect the current location of the patient target region by selecting a localization reference in the localization image, calculating a localization function based on the localization reference point, and calculating the delivery fluence by convolving the localization function with a shift-invariant firing filter. Mosaic multi-target localization partitions a planned fluence map for multiple patient target regions into sub-regions that can be individually localized.

  • Publication number: 20250018223
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for real-time monitoring of patient position and/or location during a radiation treatment session. Images acquired of a patient during a treatment session can be used to calculate the patient's position and/or location with respect to the components of the radiation therapy system. One variation of a radiation therapy system includes a circular gantry with a rotatable ring coupled to a stationary frame, a therapeutic radiation source mounted on the rotatable ring, and a patient-monitoring imaging system mounted on the rotatable ring. The patient-monitoring system may have one or more image sensors or cameras disposed on the rotatable ring within a bore region of the radiation therapy system, and may be configured to acquire image data as the ring rotates.

  • Patent number: 12198179
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for updating planogram data associated with a facility. The planogram may indicate, for different shelves and other inventory locations within the facility, which items are on which shelves. For example, the planogram data may indicate that a particular item is located on a particular shelf. Therefore, when a system identifies that a user has taken an item from that shelf, the system may update a virtual cart of that user to indicate addition of the particular item. In some instances, however, a new item may be stocked on the example shelf instead of a previous item. The techniques described herein may use sensor data generated in the facility to identify this change and update the planogram data to indicate an association between the shelf and the new item.

  • Patent number: 12165480
Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, systems for enabling physical retail stores and other facilities to implement both automated- and manual-checkout techniques for customers of the stores and/or facilities. For example, the described systems may enable a retail store to implement technology where users are able to pick items from shelves and other inventory locations and exit the store without performing manual checkout of the items, as well as technology to allow users to pay for their items using point-of-sale (POS) and/or other manual-checkout techniques. The systems described herein thus enable hybrid retail facilities, as opposed to a retail facility that is either entirely traditional or entirely enabled for automated checkout.

  • Patent number: 12158518
Abstract: Systems and methods for resolving elevation ambiguity include acquiring, using a 1-D horizontal radar antenna array, a radar frame with range and azimuth information, and predicting a target elevation based on the frame by computing a depth map with a plurality of target depths assigned to corresponding azimuth-elevation pairs. Computing the depth map includes processing the radar frame with an encoder-decoder structured deep convolutional neural network (CNN). The CNN may be trained with a dataset including training radar frames acquired in a number of environments, and compensated ground truth depth maps associated with those environments. The compensated ground truth depth maps may be generated by subtracting a ground-depth from a corresponding ground truth depth map. The ground truth depth maps may be acquired with a 2-D range sensor, such as a LiDAR sensor, a 2-D radar sensor, and/or an IR sensor. The radar frame may also include Doppler data.

  • Patent number: 12148169
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for performing object detection and tracking. For example, a tracking object can obtain an image comprising a target object at least partially in contact with a surface. The tracking object can obtain a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) keypoints based on one or more features associated with one or more portions of the target object in contact with the surface in the image. The tracking object can obtain information associated with a contour of the surface. Based on the plurality of 2D keypoints and the information associated with the contour of the surface, the tracking object can determine a three-dimensional (3D) representation associated with the plurality of 2D keypoints.

  • Patent number: 12131539
Abstract: Cameras having storage fixtures within their fields of view are programmed to capture images and process clips of the images to generate sets of features representing product spaces and actors depicted within such images, and to classify the clips as depicting or not depicting a shopping event. Where consecutive clips are determined to depict a shopping event, features of such clips are combined into a sequence and transferred, along with classifications of the clips and a start time and end time of the shopping event, to a multi-camera system. A shopping hypothesis is generated based on such sequences of features received from cameras, along with information regarding items detected within the hands of such actors, to determine a summary of shopping activity by an actor, and to update a record of items associated with the actor accordingly.

  • Patent number: 12131288
Abstract: Tidiness data associated with an inventory location, such as a shelf, indicates whether an item returned to the inventory location is designated for storage at the inventory location. When an item is returned to the inventory location and a user is determined to be near the inventory location, the weight change detected at the inventory location is compared to a corresponding weight of each item in the custody of the user, such as items within cart state data associated with the user. Differences in weight between the weight change and the corresponding weight of each item in the custody of the user are calculated. Such differences may then be compared to one or more metrics, such as threshold values, to determine how well the top candidate item in the custody of the user matches the type of item designated for storage at the inventory location.
