  • Publication number: 20180042420
Abstract: The present invention is an ergonomic safety work mat which includes a modular ergonomic wooden platform with a synthetic tapered marginal border. The purpose of this invention is to provide occupational workers with a therapeutic, forgiving work surface to protect them from the health risks of working, walking and standing on a concrete floor or common anti-fatigue mat used in many factories today. The wooden platform is raised off the floor to offer suspension, thus promoting a spring effect for absorbing and returning compression force resulting in reduced stress loads and compression force for people who work, walk or stand fort extended periods of time. This product is modular in design so that the tapered borders of separate modular sections connect for a snug fit. The vertical edges of the wood sections also have connection points that provide a leveling effect and further enhance the fit of the module sections.

  • Publication number: 20180043884
Abstract: Provided is a method and device parking assistance for a vehicle capable of autonomous operation. The embodiment herein operates to receive a parking zone, which is based on a destination location and a user-defined parking parameter, and includes a plurality of parking locations. When on approach to the parking zone under an autonomous vehicle operation, the parking assistance determines whether the parking zone includes at least one parking location that is physically available for parking the vehicle. When the parking zone does not, the parking assistance prompts the vehicle to engage in a holding pattern for a predetermined period of time. While in the holding pattern under the autonomous operation, the parking assistance periodically determines whether the at least one parking location becomes available. When the predetermined period of time lapses, parking status of the vehicle is transmitted to the vehicle user.

  • Publication number: 20180045387
Abstract: A rear facing light bar assembly that incorporates a plurality of light functions in a small integrated unit. A multifunctional circuit board powers different colored light emitting diodes to produce the tail light, brake light, amber and/or backup light. The assembly also has end caps, a one-piece polycarbonate tube lens and an extruded housing. Heat from the circuit board is dissipated through the end caps and into the extruded housing. The assembly is constructed such that the electronics are completely protected from the outside environment, and sealed from water and dust intrusion. The light also minimizes tooling and assembly cost, yet provides a secure seal protecting the electrical components. In addition, the light is serviceable so individual parts can be replaced or repaired if parts are damaged.

  • Publication number: 20180043124
Abstract: A patient interface can have a first body that rests on a first portion of a face of a patient, a second body that rests on a second portion of the face of the patient, and a bridge linking the first and second bodies. The patient interface can have an attachment structure that couples with a complementary fixation structure positioned on the face of the patient to secure the patient interface to the face. The fixation structure can include an adhesive to adhere the fixation structure, and thus the attached patient interface, to the face. The fixation structure can have an edge that is shaped to reduce the tendency for the fixation structure to be lifted off the face when the patient interface is detached from the face.
