  • Publication number: 20250112931
Abstract: A computer program product and a method may include various operations. The operations include receiving, from one or more computing devices, user data identifying a user of the computing device, user device data identifying the computing device, a current location of the computing device, and identification of electronic devices transmitting a wireless signal detected by the computing device. Access into a secure area is enabled responsive to determining that, for each computing device, a set of conditions are satisfied. The conditions include: the user data authenticates the user with reference to user records in an authorized user data structure; the user device data identifies a device registered to the user; the received current location of the computing device is nearby to the secure area; and for each detected electronic device, the electronic device is registered to an authorized user that has been authenticated and is present nearby the entrance.

  • Publication number: 20250111919
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for adjusting a messaging tonality of messages delivered to a user are described. The system may acquire baseline physiological data measured from the user and generate one or more messages based on the baseline physiological data and in accordance with a first messaging tonality. The system may acquire additional physiological data from the user based on providing the one or more messages. In some cases, the system may perform an evaluation of the first messaging tonality by comparing the additional physiological data with the baseline physiological data and select a second messaging tonality from a plurality of messaging tonalities based on the evaluation of the first messaging tonality. The system may generate one or more additional messages to be provided to the user in accordance with the second messaging tonality based on selecting the second messaging tonality.

  • Patent number: 12267229
Abstract: Data-driven intelligent networking systems and methods are provided. The system can accommodate dynamic traffic with fast, effective endpoint congestion detection and control. The system can maintain state information of individual packet flows, which can be set up or released dynamically based on injected data. Each flow can be provided with a flow-specific input queue upon arriving at a switch. Packets of a respective flow can be acknowledged after reaching the egress point of the network, and the acknowledgement packets can be sent back to the ingress point of the flow along the same data path. As a result, each switch can obtain state information of each flow and perform flow control on a per-flow basis.

  • Patent number: 12265587
Abstract: Connections among two different entities are identified by processing a collection of documents to identify one or more documents that contain co-occurring mentions of each of the two different entities. This relationship may be graphically displayed in a user interface with an icon or the like for each of the two entities, along with a graphical link interconnecting the entities. The graphical link can be an active element of the user interface that responds to user interactions by providing access to evidence within the collection of documents that substantiates the connection between the two entities. In one aspect, a search input form field in a user interface may be used to explicitly request documents that substantiate a relationship between two entities. In another aspect, a user may ground entity mentions by explicitly selecting documents that mention an entity of interest.

  • Patent number: 12264508
Abstract: An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device has a pedestal with a quick-release interface. The pedestal has an appendage positioned within a slot of the display counter. An actuation module is positioned underneath the display counter and couples to the appendage of the pedestal. A securing bracket attaches to merchandise and has a latch plate configured to couple to the quick-release interface of the pedestal. A latch disposed within the pedestal engages the latch plate to lock the securing bracket relative to the quick-release interface. An electromechanical actuator is housed within an actuation module and is operatively connected to the latch. Upon actuation, the electromechanical actuator disengages the latch from the latch plate, thereby releasing the securing bracket from the pedestal.

  • Patent number: 12265715
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a storage device and a device controller operatively coupled with the storage device. The device controller comprises a memory that stores an application. The application stored on the memory comprises instructions. When executed, the instruction direct the device controller to receive a storage request comprising content. The device controller retrieves a storage device policy from the memory that indicates a set of storage locations on the storage device. The device controller selects one of the storage locations on the storage device based on the storage device policy. The device controller stores the content on the storage device at the selected storage location. The device controller records storage information for the content that indicates the selected location on the memory.

  • Patent number: 12266385
Abstract: A data storage device comprises a lead actuator that actuates a first read-write head over a first disk and a support actuator that actuates a second read-write head over a second disk. A spindle motor rotates the first and second disks. In response to an emergency power off (EPO) event, a processing device retracts and parks the actuators using an internal supply voltage generated from a back electromotive force (BEMF) voltage of the spindle motor, and brakes the spindle motor. The spindle motor is not braked until both the lead and support actuators have been retracted and parked.
