The flexible wall has a deformation compliancy that depends upon at least one mechanical design parameter of the chip. In operation at a temperature different from room temperature, the ejection units have uniform ejection properties, while the compliancies of the flexible walls of at least two of the ejection units are different from one another at room temperature.
