Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a self-aligned contact for a trench power MOSFET device. The device has a layer of nitride provided over the conductive material in the gate trenches and over portions of mesas between every two adjacent contact structures. Alternatively, the device has an oxide layer over the conductive material in the gate trenches and over portions of mesas between every two adjacent contact structures. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. Abstract: The present invention provides a glass fiber composition, glass fiber and composite material therefrom. The glass fiber composition comprises the following components expressed as percentage by weight: 56-64% SiO2, 12-18% Al2O3, 0.1-1% Na2O, 0.1-1% K2O, 0.1-1% Fe2O3, 0.05-1% Li2O+Bi2O3, 19-25% CaO+MgO+SrO, 0.1-1.5% TiO2 and 0-1% CeO2, wherein a weight percentage ratio C1=Li2O/Bi2O3 is greater than 1, and a weight percentage ratio C2=(MgO+SrO)/CaO is 0.4-1, and a weight percentage ratio C3=MgO/(MgO+SrO) is greater than 0.7. Said composition reduces the amount of bubbles, viscosity and crystallization risk of the glass, thereby making it more suitable for large-scale production with refractory-lined furnaces.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for segmenting a digital image to identify an object portrayed in the digital image from background pixels in the digital image. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods use a first neural network and a second neural network to generate image information used to generate a segmentation mask that corresponds to the object portrayed in the digital image. Specifically, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods optimize a fit between a mask boundary of the segmentation mask to edges of the object portrayed in the digital image to accurately segment the object within the digital image.

Abstract: A lighting structure with patterns includes an electro-luminescence (EL) layer, a glass layer, a first ultraviolet (UV) ink layer, a non-conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) layer and an optically clear adhesive (OCA) layer. The first UV ink layer includes a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is laminated to the glass layer. The second surface includes a first pattern. The NCVM layer is formed on the second surface of the first UV ink layer. The OCA layer is coated on the EL layer. The EL layer is laminated to the NCVM layer via the OCA layer.

Abstract: A FLASH memory control technique with wear leveling between the different blocks of the FLASH memory. By a controller managing the blocks of a FLASH memory within a data storage device, some of the blocks are pushed into a spare queue waiting to be allocated as data blocks or system blocks. When the number of blocks within the spare queue is lower than a clean threshold and any block within the spare queue has an erase count greater than an overused lower threshold, the controller performs a garbage correction operation with wear leveling between the different blocks.

A plurality of analog-to-digital converters is coupled to a plurality of column bitlines from a pixel array to receive corresponding analog column image signals. An isolation ramp buffer is coupled between the system ramp generator and the analog-to-digital converters. The isolation ramp buffer includes a single input to receive the system ramp signal, and a plurality of isolated outputs. Each of the isolated outputs is coupled to provide an isolated column ramp signal to a corresponding analog-to-digital converter. Each of the of analog-to-digital converters is coupled to generate a corresponding digital column image signal in response to the corresponding analog column image signal and corresponding isolated column ramp signal.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of peptide histochemical diagnosis to detect the peptide binding protein in the cancer tissue. This peptide binding specifically to tumor cells is linked to the dextran coated iron oxide nanoparticle. The peptide linked dextran coated iron oxide nanoparticle can be used to bind to the formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tumor surgical specimens, and the method of present invention can be used to evaluate the efficacy of peptide-targeted chemotherapy for treatment of cancer patients.

The electronic apparatus includes a first read-only memory having first data, a second read-only memory having second data and a controller. Abstract: A multilayer interconnect structure for integrated circuits includes a first dielectric layer over a substrate and a conductive line partially exposed over the first dielectric layer. The structure further includes an etch stop layer over both the first dielectric layer and the exposed conductive line, and a second dielectric layer over the etch stop layer. The second dielectric layer and the etch stop layer provide a via hole that partially exposes the conductive line. The structure further includes a via disposed in the via hole, and another conductive line disposed over the via and coupled to the conductive line through the via. Methods of forming the multilayer interconnect structure are also disclosed. The etch stop layer reduces the lateral and vertical etching of the first and second dielectric layers when the via hole is misaligned due to overlay errors.

Abstract: A charger circuit for use in controlling charge of a battery pack, which includes a charge control switch and a control unit. The charger circuit has at least one power output terminal and one connection terminal for coupling the battery pack. The charge control switch is arranged to selectively provide a power from a power source to the battery pack through the power output terminal. The control unit is coupled to the charge control switch and the connection terminal, and determines whether to turn off the charge control switch according to a signal based on the connection terminal, wherein the signal based on the connection terminal indicates at least one of an over-voltage condition and an over-temperature condition.
