Abstract: The present disclosure provides aerosol generating substrates and aerosol source members comprising aerosol generating substrates, as well as methods of manufacturing thereof. In an example implementation, an aerosol generating substrate may comprise a fibrous filler material, an aerosol forming material, and a plurality of heat conducting constituents, wherein the substrate is formed as a sheet, and wherein the heat conducting constituents are part of the sheet. The heat conducting constituents may be incorporated within the sheet, or may be formed on a surface of the sheet. In another example implementation, an aerosol source member may comprise a substrate portion formed of a collection of intermingled pieces cut from an aerosol substrate sheet. In addition, or alternatively, a substrate portion may be formed of a series of overlapping layers of an aerosol substrate sheet.

Abstract: A vehicle is provided that includes a vehicle body defining a cabin interior, a plurality of seats located within the cabin interior, each seat having an adjustable seat base and an adjustable seat back, a monitoring system for detecting and monitoring a pet within the cabin interior, and a controller processing signals generated by the monitoring system and determining a location of the pet based on the monitored signals, the controller further controlling at least one of the adjustable seat base and adjustable seat back of a seat based on the determined location of the pet so that the seat is configured to accommodate the pet.

Abstract: A vehicle is provided that includes a vehicle body defining a cabin interior and comprising a front row of seats and a rear row of seats, a plurality of seats located within the cabin interior, and a monitoring system for detecting and monitoring a pet or passenger within the cabin interior. The vehicle also includes a movable center console positioned between a pair of the forward row of seats and forward of the rear row of seats and comprising a holder for holding a drink container, and a controller processing signals generated by the monitoring system and determining a location of the detected pet or passenger on the rear row of seats based on the processed signals, the controller further controlling the movable console between a forward first position and a rearward second position closer to the rear row of seats.

Abstract: The present invention can provide a system to facilitate encryption/decryption of sensitive data/information online. It will revolutionize the way data is encrypted because it provides a way for individuals to discretely protect their data both at rest and in motion, and it allows users the ability to decide whom the data are shared with. The present invention can become valuable to businesses and companies by reducing the exposure of sensitive information in the event of a data breach, and by extension it reduces costs related to recovering from a data breach.

Abstract: A system for automatically testing an application system graphical user interface (GUI) includes first and second application servers communicatively connected across a communication network. The second application server retrieves a GUI page provided by the first application server as part of the application system, and identifies text elements and user input objects in an image of the retrieved GUI page. Each user input object is then associated with a text element. Test parameter values are retrieved from a database storing test parameter data, and the application system is tested. In particular, for each user input object of the GUI page, a respective test parameter value is provided that is associated in the database with a same text element as is associated with the user input object. A response of the application system is then monitored.

Abstract: A sampling probe for delivering a reactant to a substance deposited on a substrate to form a reaction product and for transporting the reaction product to a product analyzer for analysis. The probe includes a tip positionable over the substance on the substrate. The probe has a recess in the tip sized and shaped for receiving at least a portion of the reaction product. The probe has a product sampling passage extending from the recess adapted for connection to the product analyzer for transporting the portion of the reaction product to the product analyzer. Further, a reactant delivery passage extends to an outlet at the recess for delivering reactant to the substance on the substrate to form the reaction product.

Abstract: An acoustic silencer nozzle for ventilation and exhaust fans. The nozzle provides at least two converging exhaust paths, each of which extend through an area that is adjacent acoustically absorbing media or resonating chambers. In this manner, the noise is reduced at the nozzle or outlet portion and provides a tight plume of high velocity discharge flow. Preferably, the nozzle has at least one opening that allows for ambient atmospheric air to mix with the exhaust gases at the outlet of the nozzle.

Abstract: A portable tree stand foldable between transportable and operational positions primarily for use by hunters. The tree stand comprises a rigid, spike-equipped, seat for supporting the hunter above ground adjacent to and in contact with a selected tree, and a cooperating, rigid foot rest adapted to be operationally disposed in spaced-apart, generally parallel relation beneath the seat. The foot rest is pivotally mounted to a rigid, generally U-shaped yoke having upper ends pivotally secured to opposite sides of the seat frame. A pair of spike-equipped jaw members which are pivotally coupled to the seat frame extend rearwardly therefrom and are normally biased apart to a fully open, tree-engaging position. The jaw members include integral, outwardly diverging locking arm portions which are adapted to be drawn together by the hunter with a rope during stand installation to forcibly compress the jaw members in binding, substantially circumferential engagement with the selected tree.

Abstract: A method of producing molded articles comprising taking a by-product from a main process, that by-product comprising a contaminated thermoplastic material impregnated with a fibrous material, usually paper and in some instances additionally a metallic foil, removing a portion of the fibrous material for re-use in the main process and thereafter heating and molding the remaining material to form an article. In instances where the thermoplastic material is not contaminated with a fibrous material, it may be considered desirable to introduce such material.
