  • Patent number: 10350697
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a rotary changer including a rotator rotatable on a rotational axis extending vertically. An interlocking member is arranged to rotate integrally with the rotator and be movable in a direction intersecting with the rotational axis. The interlocking member has an interlocking groove interlockable with an outer peripheral surface of a nozzle inserted into the hollow of the rotator. Rotating the rotator with the interlocking member interlocked with the nozzle makes the nozzle replaceable.

  • Patent number: 10150177
Abstract: A moving mechanism brings the rotational axis of each driven rotator into alignment with the rotational axis of a drive rotator, which has an engaging face extending along its rotational axis. Each driven rotator has an engageable face extending along the rotational axis of the drive rotator. Rotating the drive rotator while moving the driven rotator, of which the rotational axis is aligned with the rotational axis, toward the drive rotator will bring the engaging face into engagement with the engageable face.

  • Patent number: 9957559
Abstract: The present invention provides for a novel system and method for amplification and detection of nucleic acids within a miniaturized device wherein sample administration occurs via capillary forces through a channel created by drying a hydrogel containing all components needed for a cell-free, enzymatic, nucleic-acid amplification system other than the template nucleic acid or precursor thereto, and wherein an aqueous sample is provided to the desiccated hydrogel, and the hydrogel is rehydrated, through capillary forces.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9797072
Abstract: This invention is related to a method of manufacturing a cotton weft knit fabric that is resistant to fraying, curling, and laddering. The unique fabrication method described herein generates a cotton fabric that resists edge fraying and curling when cut. As a result of the unique manufacturing method described herein, the typical garment hemming process typically used to prevent hemming and fraying in weft knit fabric is not required.
