  • Patent number: 10600690
Abstract: A method for handling a product substrate includes bonding a carrier to the product substrate by: applying a layer of a temporary adhesive having a first coefficient of thermal expansion onto a surface of the carrier; and bonding the carrier to the product substrate using the applied temporary adhesive. A surface of the temporary adhesive is in direct contact to a surface of the product substrate. The temporary adhesive includes or is adjacent a filler material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion which is smaller than the first coefficient of thermal expansion, so that stress occurs inside the temporary adhesive layer or at an interface to the product substrate or the carrier during cooling down of the temporary adhesive layer.

  • Publication number: 20200092643
Abstract: A system is described herein. The system includes at least one hardware processor that is configured to identify a pre-determined acoustic barrier filter, wherein the acoustic barrier filter coincides with the physical acoustic barrier and receive an audio signal within a time window at the first microphone and the second microphone. The hardware processor is also configured to calculate a first measure of variability, a second measure of variability, a third measure of variability, and a fourth measure of variability. The hardware processor further concatenates the first measure of variability, the second measure of variability, the third measure of variability, and the fourth measure of variability to form a feature vector, and inputs the feature vector into a location classifier to obtain an audio source location.

  • Publication number: 20200087981
Abstract: The present disclosure provides lamination transfer films and use of the lamination transfer films, particular in the fabrication of architectural glass elements, such as those used in Insulated Glass Units (IGUs). The lamination transfer films may be used to transfer functional layers and structures. The lamination transfer films may include a support film that can be removed during the transfer process, and the transferred materials are primarily inorganic. The resulting transferred structures on glass generally have high photo- and thermal-stability, and therefore can successfully be applied to the glass surfaces that are interior to the cavity within an IGU. The lamination transfer films can also be patterned such that macroscopic patterns of microoptical elements can be applied on a glass surface.

  • Publication number: 20200091696
Abstract: A system for isolating a power conductor includes a power conductor that extends between first and second flanking support structures. First and second collars are connected respectively to the first and second flanking support structures. The first and second collars each at least partially surround the power conductor and including respective first and second open tracks that cooperate with each other to define a sheet-receiving slot. An electrically insulating/insulative sheet is located in the sheet-receiving slot and extends continuously between the first and second collars. The sheet is secured in covering relation with the power conductor.

  • Patent number: 10593399
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for self-selecting memory with horizontal access lines are described. A memory array may include first and second access lines extending in different directions. For example, a first access line may extend in a first direction, and a second access line may extend in a second direction. At each intersection, a plurality of memory cells may exist, and each plurality of memory cells may be in contact with a self-selecting material (SSM). Further, a dielectric material may be positioned between a first plurality of memory cells and a second plurality of memory cells in at least one direction. each cell group (e.g., a first and second plurality of memory cells) may be in contact with one of the first access lines and second access lines, respectively.
