  • Publication number: 20250149874
Abstract: Fault classification and zone identification in a power transmission system are described. Voltage or current measurements are obtained at a terminal of the transmission line in each of the three phases measured during a fault. Modal transformations are performed on voltage or current measurements to obtain traveling wave signals with reference to each of the three phases. Based on the magnitude of the traveling wave signals the fault is classified.

  • Patent number: 12288979
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling a distance protection system, as well as a respective device and system for performing the method. Measurements are received. The measurements comprise current and/or voltage measurements at a first position along a transmission line for an electrical power system. A first impedance is computed from the received measurements. A fault location is determined from the computed first impedance and a first impedance boundary. Responsive to the determined fault location, a second impedance is computed. The fault location is redetermined from the computed second impedance and the first impedance boundary. The distance protection system is controlled based on the determined fault location or the re-determined fault location.

  • Patent number: 12267534
Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for increasing content insertion opportunities. A prediction input is received that characterizes utilization of content stream utilization channels (CSUCs). Schedule parameters are automatically predicted for the prediction input using prediction models obtained via machine learning based on grouped historic data related to CSUCs, where grouping is based on an operational mode in which the prediction models operate. Using the predicted schedule parameters, insertion opportunity may be identified with respect to CSUCs and insertion schedules are generated specifying insertions of content streams into identified CSUCs at respective insertion times.

  • Publication number: 20250086762
Abstract: Distortion correction from a distorted source image to a distortion corrected target image includes dividing the target image into a plurality of target tiles. The source image is divided into source tiles. Each source tile corresponds to a target tile according to a first mapping. The source tiles are processed to produce a source tile index until all the source tiles in the source image have been assigned a source tile index value in an ascending order. At least one y coordinate value of a first target tile is higher than a y coordinate value of a second target tile, wherein the first target tile corresponds to a source tile that appears earlier in the ascending order of the source tile index than a corresponding source tile of the second target tile. Distortion correction of the source image is performed by mapping each source tile to its corresponding target tile.

  • Publication number: 20250081105
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may establish a non-cellular connection with a user equipment (UE) to operate in a connected mode. Additionally, the wireless device and the UE may support cellular connections with a wireless network. If the wireless network sends a downlink message for the wireless device, the wireless device may refrain from receiving the downlink message via a cellular connection with the wireless network. For example, the wireless device may receive a wake-up signal from a network entity, the wake-up signal indicating that a message is available via the cellular connection. Based on operating in the connected mode, the wireless device may receive the message from the UE via the non-cellular connection instead of from the network entity via the cellular connection. In some examples, the UE may send a decoded version of the message to the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 12244678
Abstract: A server system for managing electronic content receives the electronic content at a data flow adapter. The electronic content is to be stored at a data storage system. The server system attempts to transmit the electronic content from the data flow adapter to the data storage system but receives a notification indicating that the data storage system will not store the electronic content. In response to the notification, the server system temporarily stores the electronic content at a data staging memory. A staging data adapter polls the data staging memory for electronic content awaiting to be stored at the data storage system. The server system detects the electronic content stored at the data staging memory and, in response, causes the staging data adapter to move the electronic content from the data staging memory to the data storage system when the data storage system will store the electronic content.
