  • Publication number: 20070085416
Abstract: An agricultural vehicle is disclosed having ancillary equipment that may be raised and lowered relative to the ground with consequential changing of the position of the centre of gravity of the vehicle and having a hydraulic braking system comprising a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. The braking system further includes a pressure relief valve for limiting the hydraulic pressure applied to the slave cylinder only when the vehicle is in road mode. This ensures that the braking force does not exceed a safe limit below which the vehicle does not risk toppling forwards when braking.

  • Patent number: 7207011
Abstract: An alphanumeric information entry process that includes provision and use of a personal context model that correlates various examples of user context against a unique personal language model for the user. The personal language model itself along with considerable correlation examples can be developed by statistical analysis of user documents and files including particularly email files (including address books). Such processing can be done locally or remotely. The personal context model is used to predict subsequent alphanumeric entries for a given user. In one embodiment predictions are presented one word at a time. Predictions can be automatically changed in one embodiment when the user fails to make any input for a predetermined period of time.

  • Patent number: 7205372
Abstract: Organosilicon compounds having at least one ?SiH unit per molecule are functionalized via heterogeneous catalysis into, for example, epoxidized POS by hydrosilylation between an ethylenically unsaturated epoxide such as VCMX and a hydrogenated POS of the MDD?M type with M=R3SiO1/2, D=R2—SiO2/2, D?=RH=SiO2/2, in which R=alkyl, and wherein the viscosity of the final product is controlled, i.e., to limit the parasitic reactions of cationic polymerization by opening of heterocycles, resulting in partial or total gelling of the reaction mixture, said hydrosilylation characteristically being carried out in the presence of at least one inorganic non-nucleophilic base and, optionally, water.

  • Patent number: 7206795
Abstract: A problem of latency during a read of a file is solved by activating multiple concurrent read threads and also by prefetching blocks of file data from storage to a file system cache. Prefetching ensures that by the time that a client or application needs more file data, the file data will already have been read from storage and written to the cache as a background operation. For example, a file server responds to a request to read an extent of file data consisting of eight consecutive file blocks by activating concurrent block read threads for reading the file blocks and by prefetching from the storage to the cache eight more consecutive blocks of data from the file.

  • Patent number: 7206409
Abstract: Method and apparatus for uniquely identifying a copy of a motion picture disposed on a media. The method includes the steps of selecting two or more motion picture scenes. Each of the motion picture scenes is an identifiable portion of the motion picture distinct from every other portion of the motion picture. Once the scenes have been identified, two or more sequences can be defined within each of the motion picture scenes such that each sequence includes two or more frames. For example, the motion picture can have three scenes, each divided into twenty eight sequences, with each of the sequences containing 12 frames. Once the scenes and sequences have been selected, at least one of the sequences from each scene is marked to define a uniquely identifiable marking pattern on the media.
