  • Publication number: 20180353465
Abstract: Tannin-containing compositions and methods of using same to enhance or maintain immune function during simplified nutrition feeding. Pharmaceutical compositions, including enteral nutrition compositions, are provided. The compositions comprise such tannins as proanthocyanidins and/or hydrolysable tannins. Administering the tannins to the gastrointestinal tract of a subject receiving simplified nutrition, such as with enteral nutrition therapy or parenteral nutrition therapy, attenuates or prevents deleterious effects on the gastrointestinal immune system that would otherwise occur with the simplified nutrition.

  • Publication number: 20180359648
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device receives data regarding usage of access points in a network by a plurality of clients in the network. The device maintains an access point graph that represents the access points in the network as vertices of the access point graph. The device generates, for each of the plurality of clients, client trajectories as trajectory subgraphs of the access point graph. A particular client trajectory for a particular client comprises a set of edges between a subset of the vertices of the access point graph and represents transitions between access points in the network performed by the particular client. The device identifies a transition pattern from the client trajectories by deconstructing the trajectory subgraphs. The device uses the identified transition pattern to effect a configuration change in the network.

  • Publication number: 20180355680
Abstract: A stress-free centralizer system for wellbore tubulars having a centralizer portion with hollow vanes or solid vanes. An injectable material can be configured to harden at ambient or elevated temperatures and installed into the hollow vanes while coating a portion of the inner surface of the centralizer portion. Alternatively, a swellable encapsulation and shape shifting material can be used instead of the injectable material. Additionally, primers and adhesives can be used with the centralizer portion. Both materials when hardened or swollen can be configured to withstand temperatures and pressures within a wellbore for twenty-four hours without melting or degrading. The centralizer portion can simultaneously prevent axial movement and rotational movement while installed on the wellbore tubular, distribute load evenly around the centralizer portion, and provide cathodic protection to the wellbore tubular without using a stop collar with screws.

  • Patent number: 10152076
Abstract: A system and method is provided that facilitates aggregation of a plurality of controllable distributed energy resources (DERs). A processor may be configured to determine DER forecasts including non-influenced power profile forecasts for a plurality of DERs that include different types of load assets that consume power, for when the DERs are not influenced via dispatches from the system, based at least in part on different physics characteristics associated with the different types of the DERs. The processor may also determine a combined reserve capacity forecast for aggregated DERs including both power assets that output power and the different types of load assets, based at least in part on an aggregation of the non-influenced power profile forecasts. In addition, the processor may control at least some of the plurality of DERs based at least in part on the combined reserve capacity forecast.

  • Patent number: 10150609
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing product that includes a dispenser body having first and second interior sections, a lid, and a release mechanism. Product in the first interior section passes through an opening in the second interior portion and into an inner channel for dispensing. The inner channel includes a prong that prevent product from reverting back to the first interior section. The lid includes a lip that, when the dispenser is closed, creates a seal about the inner channel. When the dispenser is to be opened, the user may activate the release mechanism, which includes an upper portion and an activation portion. The user inwardly presses the release activation portion, which deflects or bends a portion of the inner channel away from the lip. The user may also downwardly press on the release mechanism to release the upper portion from engagement with the lip and the sidewall.
