  • Publication number: 20230188526
Abstract: In some examples, an access control policy controller in a computer network may receive a request to create an access control policy that permits a role to perform one or more functions in the computer network. The access control policy controller may determine one or more operations performed on one or more objects in the computer network to perform the one or more functions based at least in part on tracking performance of the one or more functions in the computer network. The access control policy controller may create the access control policy for the role that permits the role to perform the one or more operations on the one or more objects in the computer network.

  • Publication number: 20230188457
Abstract: A method comprises, at a first router configured to perform Bit Index Explicit Replication (BIER) for forwarding of multicast packets in a network, storing configuration information that indicates that the first router belongs to multiple subdomains of a BIER domain, and is able to forward the multicast packets for a virtual private network on the multiple subdomains. The method further comprises, during an auto-discovery procedure, generating an auto-discovery message to include an auto-discovery route and route attributes that indicate the multiple subdomains, and sending the auto-discovery message to a second router of the virtual private network the network.

  • Publication number: 20230185650
Abstract: Event management system and method. Events comprise physical and logical attributes. Tuples are created to identify a set of logical attributes. The tuples are arranged in hierarchized relations by creating binarized co-occurrence matrices, each co-occurrence matrix reflecting different time intervals and indicate occurrence of tuples in time windows of the time intervals. Tuple pairs are analyzed to determine probabilistic score related to co-occurrence, and tuple families are created from tuple pairs based on the probabilistic score. From tuple families, events are used to extract tuple instances including physical attributes, which are arranged as tuple-instance families using the corresponding tuple families as reference.

  • Patent number: 11678254
Abstract: Wireless devices (clients) connect to different access points (AP) in a wireless network. The wireless network may determine that based on, for example, congestion of certain APs that a client should be steered away from a current AP. Steering may be conducted utilizing BSS transition management (BTM) messages to provide the client with a list of network-preferred APs for a transition. Clients may also have one or more preferred APs and may reject the BTM steering message if it does not include at least one client-preferred AP. To prevent rejection of the BTM message, at least one client-preferred AP may be added to the BTM message. To ensure the client is steered to a network-preferred AP, the client is blacklisted from connecting to the client-preferred AP until the client has been steered to a network-preferred AP.

  • Patent number: 11675812
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for synchronization of metadata between databases in a cloud computing environment. A computing device identifies jobs that synchronize metadata from a first database instance to a second database instance, each job comprising synchronization tasks for a different portion of the metadata. The computing device determines a count of the synchronization tasks for each job. The computing device allocates each job to a first queue where the count of the synchronization tasks for the job is below a threshold value, and allocates the synchronization tasks for each job to a second queue where the count of the synchronization tasks for the job is at or above the threshold value. The computing device executes the jobs in the first queue and executes the synchronization tasks in the second queue to synchronize the corresponding metadata to the second database instance.

  • Patent number: 11676575
Abstract: A speech interface device is configured to receive response data from a remote speech processing system for responding to user speech. This response data may be enhanced with information such as remote NLU data. The response data from the remote speech processing system may be compared to local NLU data to improve a speech processing model on the device. Thus, the device may perform supervised on-device learning based on the remote NLU data. The device may determine differences between the updated speech processing model and an original speech processing model received from the remote system and may send data indicating these differences to the remote system. The remote system may aggregate data received from a plurality of devices and may generate an improved speech processing model.

  • Patent number: 11677778
Abstract: Protecting data in non-volatile storages provided to clouds against malicious attacks. According to an aspect, multiple malicious patterns indicating respective malicious attacks to access non-volatile storages provided to clouds in a cloud infrastructure are maintained. When an access request is received, the data stream representing the access request is examined to determine whether the data stream contains any of the malicious patterns. If the data stream is found not to contain any malicious pattern, it is concluded that the access request is free of the malicious attacks. If the data stream is found to contain at least one malicious pattern, it is concluded that the access request is a malicious attack corresponding to the malicious pattern.

  • Patent number: 11676091
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to computer systems and methods that provide a data-driven approach to product benchmarking. The systems and methods identify a product being developed on a product development platform. The systems and methods repeatedly evaluate products similar in operation to the identified product. In response to the evaluation, the systems and methods automatically determine current performance capabilities of the similar products and digitize the determined current performance capabilities as current benchmark parameters in a central database integrated within the platform. The systems and methods generate output, by an application of the platform, based on searching the current benchmark parameters in the database, and develop functions and parts for the identified product using the generated output.

Abstract: A policy-controlled access system comprising a client device running a local application, a secure tunnel between a client endpoint of the client device, and a mid-link endpoint of a mid-link server to provide network traffic from the client device to the mid-link server. The mid-link server monitors the network traffic, identifies a plurality of policies corresponding to the third-party content, the plurality of policies is based on parental control configuration set by a parent user, stores the plurality of policies corresponding to the third-party content in a local cache on the client device, and receives a request for data from the child user. After the request is made, the local application correlates the third-party content with the plurality of policies stored in the local cache, identifies a policy associated with the request for the data based on correlation, and authorizes the request for the data based on the identified policy.
