  • Patent number: 9337962
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure propose techniques for a continuous communications mode in a wireless communications system. The technique may involve processing bundles of transmission time interval (TTI) transmissions having transmission times that are mapped to voice-over-internet-protocol (VOIP) arrival times, wherein the bundled TTI transmissions are processed without acknowledgements to indicate the bundled TTI transmissions have been successfully received.

  • Patent number: 9338066
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product for providing a variable tunnel keep-alive interval is presented. A tunnel keep-alive packet for a first tunnel is received at a first switching device. A Quality of Service (QoS) value of the keep-alive packet ishcekce. A determination is made regarding whether the QoS value corresponds to a QoS value of network control traffic, and when the QoS value of the keep-alive packet is lower than the QoS value of the network control traffic then a value of a tunnel keep-alive interval is increased.

  • Patent number: 9338196
Abstract: To improve detection accuracy of SPIT, first, an identification information gathering apparatus receives various identification information from an IP phone terminal which has transmitted an INVITE message. A PUCI server generates bind identification information by binding or associating various identification information received from an identification information gathering apparatus via an SIP server and registers the bind identification information to a gray list stored in a list storing portion. A SPIT determination portion evaluates the bind identification information in reference to the gray list and determines whether or not the session start request from the IP phone terminal is allowed.

  • Patent number: 9336509
Abstract: Systems and methods may be provided for determining, assigning and directing containers for transshipment between facilities without using an item-level sortation process and moving containers from a receiving area of a facility to an outbound dock without placing the items into inventory. A facility may or may not have item-level sortation processing. Data indicating received items is received. A determination is made for which of the received containers are for transshipment from the materials handling facility based on multiple factors. Containers in receiving that are determined for transshipment may be directed from receive to outbound docks without placing the items into inventory and without using an item-level sortation process. Pallets may be transshipped without placing the items into inventory and without depalletization.

  • Patent number: 9338228
Abstract: Write operations are scheduled for multiple nodes in a shared storage cluster that supports volume replication. Requests are received from nodes for allocation of space for write operations in a replication log. In response to a received request, the current capacity of the requesting node to manage a backlog can be determined. The amount of space in the replication log allocated to the node is then calibrated to the node's capacity, thereby preventing self-throttling. A separate priority can be assigned to each volume, and space in the replication log assigned to each volume based on its priority. Nodes can target synchronous and other latency sensitive operations to higher priority volumes. A single global queue can be maintained to schedule write operations for all nodes, thereby providing a fair scheduling. A separate local queue can be maintained for each node, thereby providing specific levels of preference to specific nodes.

  • Patent number: 9338743
Abstract: Techniques for determining if it is safe for a mobile device to transition directly from a traffic session to a paging mode and for avoiding network re-synchronization procedures in stationary M2M devices are disclosed. It may be safe for direct transition if before-call and in-call network parameters correspond. If safe, the mobile device may transition from the traffic session directly to the paging mode to begin immediately monitoring the paging channel. In stationary M2M devices, paging information is stored before the traffic session and, once the traffic session is complete, the M2M device may be configured to receive paging messaging based on the stored paging information. The M2M device may also store system access information and confirm the validity of the information before returning to the sleep state. The stationary M2M device avoids network re-synchronization procedures. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for two stage two-stage physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a downlink control information (DCI) flag and DCI format size indicator are described. For instance, the present disclosure presents an example method of wireless communication at a wireless device, which may include receiving, at a first bandwidth and during a transmission time interval (TTI), a first control channel message. In addition, the example method may include determining, based on a flag in the first control channel message, whether a second control channel message is present in the TTI. Furthermore, the example method may include receiving, at a second bandwidth, the second control channel message where the flag indicates that the second control channel message is present for the TTI.

  • Publication number: 20160120983
Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition including an ionic liquid composed of a triptan compound and saccharin. Since a triptan compound and saccharin form an ionic liquid to increase the solubility of the triptan compound in the present invention, it is possible to expect a rapid and high dissolution of the triptan compound when a pharmaceutical composition is prepared. In addition, large amounts of organic solvents and acidic solvents need not be used in order to dissolve the triptan compound.

  • Publication number: 20160127168
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods for preventing or reducing traffic losses of data. If an information handling system, such as a switch or router, in a network attempts to install route information in the data store of the information handling system and has a failure or a potential failure, the information handling system may take one of several options or combinations thereof. In embodiments, the information handling system may not advertise the route information. In embodiments, the information handling system may send a route withdrawal message to one or more peer information handling systems to remove that system from routing determinations involving the route information. Alternatively, the information handling system may advertise the route prefix with a high metric to indicate that the system is a non-preferred forwarder for data intended for a destination associated with the route information.

  • Publication number: 20160124889
Abstract: An asynchronous data transfer system includes a bus interface unit (BIU), a FIFO write logic module, a write pointer synchronizer, a write pointer validator, a FIFO read logic module, and an asynchronous FIFO buffer. The FIFO buffer receives a variable size data from the BIU and stores the variable size data at a write address. The FIFO write logic module generates a write pointer by encoding the write address using a Johnson code. The FIFO read logic module receives a synchronized write pointer at the asynchronous clock domain and generates a read address signal when the synchronized write pointer is a valid Johnson code format. The FIFO buffer transfers the variable size data to a processor based on the read address signal.
