    Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition, containing tyndallized lactobacillus dead cells as an active ingredient, for skin moisturizing or wrinkle improvement. The effect of the tyndallized lactobacillus dead cells on skin moisturizing and wrinkle improvement, which are deteriorated by ultraviolet radiation, was checked. As a result, it was confirmed that the amount of moisture evaporating from the skin was reduced and the amount of moisture contained in the skin was increased. In addition, it was confirmed that the epidermis thickness was reduced and the expression levels of wrinkle-related proteins were reduced. Therefore, the composition of the present invention improves the damage of the skin barriers, which is caused by ultraviolet radiation, thereby suppressing the loss of skin moisture or the wrinkle formation.
