  • Publication number: 20250036933
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device identifies a plurality of tasks that a base machine learning model is able to perform. The device receives, via a user interface, a request to generate a specialized model to perform a particular task for deployment to a target deployment environment. The device uses knowledge distillation on the base machine learning model to train the specialized model to perform the particular task based on at least one of the plurality of tasks. The device causes the specialized model to be deployed to the target deployment environment.

  • Publication number: 20250036961
Abstract: In one embodiment, a supervisory device in a federated learning system generates an aggregated model that aggregates a plurality of machine learning models trained by trainer nodes in a federated learning system during a training round. The supervisory device computes an accuracy loss metric for the aggregated model. The supervisory device also computes a fairness loss metric for the aggregated model based on fairness-related metrics associated with the plurality of machine learning models trained by the trainer nodes. The supervisory device initiates an additional training round during which the trainer nodes retrain their machine learning models for aggregation by the apparatus, in accordance with a constrained optimization problem that seeks to optimize a tradeoff between accuracy and fairness associated with the aggregated model.

  • Publication number: 20250036820
Abstract: Embodiments perform automatic slot propagation in CAD models. One such embodiment identifies a first instance of a tab feature in a CAD model. The first instance of the tab feature is associated with a corresponding first instance of a slot feature. Next, a second instance of the tab feature in the CAD model is identified, e.g., a tab that does not have a slot. In turn, the slot feature is automatically propagated by creating a second instance of the slot feature in a component of the CAD model. The second instance of the slot feature corresponds to the identified second instance of the tab feature. In this way, embodiments automatically create slots for tabs without slots.

  • Publication number: 20250036577
Abstract: Facilitating access to a PCIe configuration space of a PCIe function associated with a computer comprises receiving by a PCIe controller EP in the computer over a PCIe link a configuration request from a remote computer to access a PCIe configuration space. The PCIe controller then communicates over a communication fabric the configuration request to a dispatcher of the computer. The dispatcher determines from the configuration request, a PCIe function and operation indicated in the configuration request which is used to identify a respective subsystem to execute the configuration request and the configuration request is communicated to the respective subsystem based on the identification. The subsystem then executes the configuration request to facilitate access to the PCIe configuration space of the PCIe function by the remote computer and sharing of the PCIe function with the remote computer.

  • Publication number: 20250039049
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for initializing, reviewing/approving, and deploying changes within a network. Each change is associated with a particular change ticket. When a change needs to be rolled back, the original change ticket may be analyzed to determine what actions need to be performed to roll back the change. A plan of the needed actions may then be presented to a reviewer in a rollback ticket. The original change ticket may be cancelled and a new ticket, e.g., the rollback ticket, may be prepared that includes the plan for the rollback, e.g., the one or more actions needed to roll back the initial change. In configurations, a change ticket may include multiple changes and thus, for rollback, either all the changes associated with the change ticket may be rolled back or only the last change or action that was initially made may be rolled back.

  • Publication number: 20250039637
Abstract: System and method for selecting location data to be used as the location of a user device using a location-based service. Horizontal location data and vertical location data for the user device are obtained from multiple sources. A horizontal location uncertainty and a vertical location uncertainty are determined or obtained for each source. In response to determining that both the horizontal location uncertainty meets a threshold horizontal uncertainty value and the vertical location uncertainty meets a threshold vertical uncertainty value, the corresponding source is identified as compliant. In response to identifying no compliant sources, a lowest horizontal location uncertainty and a lowest vertical location uncertainty are selected from among the plurality of sources.

  • Publication number: 20250036280
Abstract: In described examples, a flash memory bank includes application and bootloader portions. The application portion stores first instructions for performing an interrupt service routine (ISR). The bootloader portion stores second instructions for: causing the flash memory bank to receive new first instructions for performing the ISR and write the new first instructions to replace old first instructions, and executing the new first instructions. The new first instructions execute the following steps in order. First, while maintaining an interrupt response, initializing variables specified by the new first instructions and not specified by the old first instructions, and not changing variables specified by the old first instructions. Second, after determining there is no interrupt response in process, disabling the interrupt response and proceeding to a third step. Third, initializing a stack, updating an interrupt vector, and updating a function pointer. Fourth, re-enabling the interrupt response.

In response to identifying at least one compliant source, an optimum compliant source is selected to provide as the location of the user device using the location-based service.

  • Publication number: 20250037765
Abstract: The present disclosure provides mechanisms for reducing and suppressing random telegraph noise (RTN) for a crossbar circuit. A processing device may perform a programming process to program the conductance of a resistive random-access memory (RRAM) device in the crossbar circuit to a target conductance value. The processing device may then determine whether a random telegraph noise (RTN) value associated with the RRAM device is within a predetermined range of acceptable RTN values. If the RTN value associated with the RRAM device is not within a predetermined range of acceptable RTN values, one or more noise-reduction voltages may be applied to the RRAM device until the RTN value associated with the RRAM device is within the predetermined range of acceptable RTN values.
