  • Patent number: 11150897
Abstract: Techniques for generating rules from documentation are described. For example, a method for generating rules may include generating one or more templates containing patterns and anti-patterns from code of one or more documents, wherein a pattern captures a good coding practice as detailed in the documents and an anti-pattern is a proper subset of a pattern that does not include a construct described in the documents as being a recommended and/or required usage; constructing one or more graphs from the one or more templates; mining the constructed one or more graphs to find target sub-graphs which do not contain bugs, wherein a bug occurs when an anti-pattern matches, but a pattern does not match; comparing the target sub-graphs to a representative dataset to remove target sub-graphs that violate good usage; and codifying the sub-graphs that represent good usage.

  • Patent number: 11153285
Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods for management and pre-establishment of network application and secure communication sessions. Session logs may be analyzed to identify an application or secure communication sessions likely to be accessed, and prior to receiving a request to establish the session, an intermediary (e.g. another device such as an intermediary appliance or other device, or an intermediary agent on a client such as a client application) may pre-establish the session, performing any necessary handshaking or credential or key exchange processes. When the session is subsequently requested (e.g. in response to a user request), the system may immediately begin using the pre-established session. This pre-establishment may be coordinated within the enterprise providing load balancing and scheduling of session establishment to prevent large processing loads at any one point in time.

  • Publication number: 20210318942
Abstract: Disclosed are devices and methods for periodically powering up a storage device(s) (SSDs) associated with a vehicle to avoid and prevent data loss. The disclosed embodiments provide mechanisms for preserving stored data collected during the running of a vehicle without requiring the main power supply to be routed through the CPU. Through the improved configuration and application of the disclosed power management integrated circuitry (PMIC), storage devices of a vehicle are enabled to be provided direct power and refreshed without powering on the vehicle (e.g., starting the car). The PMIC also ensures that the necessary power can be provided to and maintained to the storage device(s) in the event of an unexpected power loss.

  • Publication number: 20210320853
Abstract: An application and network analytics platform can capture comprehensive telemetry from servers and network devices operating within a network. The platform can discover flows running through the network, applications generating the flows, servers hosting the applications, computing resources provisioned and consumed by the applications, and network topology, among other insights. The platform can generate various models relating one set of application and network performance metrics to another. For example, the platform can model application latency as a function of computing resources provisioned to and/or actually used by the application, its host's total resources, and/or the distance of its host relative to other elements of the network. The platform can change the model by moving, removing, or adding elements to predict how the change affects application and network performance. In some situations, the platform can automatically act on predictions to improve application and network performance.

  • Publication number: 20210319008
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to determining a predicted time interval for querying a database beginning at a starting point in time to retrieve a specified number of records. A computer system receives a request for records from a database that stores timestamped records, where the request is for a specified number of records beginning at a starting point in time. The computer system then determines a predicted time interval for querying the database beginning at the starting point in time to retrieve the specified number of records, where the predicted time interval may be determined by a machine learning module that is trained using historical database transaction data. Such techniques may advantageously improve the efficiency of individual queries in fetching a desired amount of data from a database for applications.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided to implement suggestion of new entity types with discriminative importance analysis. The mechanism obtains a list of predefined intents from a chatbot designer. The mechanism receives an input sentence having a target intent within the list of predefined intents. The mechanism performs intent-specific importance analysis on the input sentence to generate an importance score for each token in the input sentence. The mechanism ranks the tokens in the input sentence by importance score and outputs a token with a highest importance score as a candidate entity type.
