  • Publication number: 20220372848
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for use of desulphated injection water from offshore platforms for utilization in inhibition squeeze operations. The system is capable of increasing the treatment capacity by joining the pumping system from the stimulation vessel with the water injection system from the offshore platform. In the initial treatment step, according to the method of this invention, the fluid containing the inhibitor is pumped exclusively by the vessel, followed by an aqueous overflush, where the injection water is mixed with part of the inhibitor cushion pumped by the stimulation vessel.

  • Patent number: 11502613
Abstract: A bidirectional or unidirectional DC-DC converter includes a primary stage and a secondary stage. The primary stage is configured to receive or output a first DC voltage. The primary stage includes a first switching network configured to convert the first DC voltage to a first alternating current (AC) voltage or vice versa. The DC-DC converter also includes a transformer having primary windings and secondary windings. The primary windings are in electrical communication with the first switching network. The transformer is configured to convert between the first AC voltage and a second AC voltage. The DC-DC converter also includes a secondary stage that has a second switching network. Characteristically, the second switching network and the transformer operate as an interleaved converter to convert the second AC voltage to an output DC voltage or vice versa. Advantageously, the required series inductance for this interleaved converter is integrated into the transformer.

  • Publication number: 20220341291
Abstract: During meeting for planning operations for scale removal and scale inhibitor squeeze treatment in wells, the possibility of the manifold being partially incrusted with scale raised considering the more critical mixture of water produced. The proposed solution is a method of treatment for removing scale from a manifold. Said method uses the geothermal heating of the exploration reservoir to heat a chemical removal solution (50). Heating is required to ensure the temperature is in a range that is also suitable for conducting the removal reaction, since the distance that the solution travels to the manifold (20) e the low temperature of the underwater environment make the reaction occur inefficiently, as in the case of pre-salt.
