  • Publication number: 20240070002
Abstract: Techniques described herein include frameworks and models for identifying, analyzing, and addressing hangs within distributed and heterogenous computing environments. A hang detection framework may model a distributed computing environment as a complex forest of interrelated requests. The hang detection framework may generate hang graphs based upon requests that are being processed and/or waited upon within the distributed environment. For example, a node within an acyclic graph may represent an execution entity that is currently processing one or more requests. Directed edges that connect one node to another may represent requests upon which an execution entity is waiting for another execution node to fulfill. The model may be used to isolate and address the root cause of hangs within the computing environment.

  • Publication number: 20240070530
Abstract: Implementations disclosed herein are directed to a hybrid federated learning (FL) technique that utilizes both federated averaging (FA) and federated distillation (FD) during a given round of FL of a given global machine learning (ML) model. Implementations may identify a population of client devices to participate in the given round of FL, determine a corresponding quantity of instances of client data available at each of the client devices that may be utilized during the given round of FL, and select different subsets of the client devices based on the corresponding quantity of instances of client data. Further, implementations may cause a first subset of the client devices to generate a corresponding FA update and a second subset of client devices to generate a corresponding FD update. Moreover, implementations may subsequently update the given global ML model based on the corresponding FA updates and the corresponding FD updates.

  • Publication number: 20240069778
Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product area provided. A computer transmits a query command to a storage descriptor area of a first disk. The first disk belongs to a dual-site data replication system. The dual-site data replication system provides active-active access to a volume of data stored in an active disk and replicated in a backup disk. The computer receives a response to the query command. The response indicates the active disk and the backup disk for the dual-site data replication system. The computer controls an additional copy of the volume of data at a further remote site based on the active disk.

  • Publication number: 20240071380
Abstract: The disclosure describes systems, methods, and media for generating real-time insights in a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) conversation. According to the methods, an application server receives a transcript of one or more voice utterances of a participant in the VoIP conversation, and identifies a context of the VoIP conversation and a first state of the context based on the transcript. The application server further receives an intent of the participant from a conversation artificial intelligence (AI) engine based on the transcript provided to the conversation AI engine. The application server further formulates one or more queries based on the intent, the context, and the first state of the context to retrieve one or more insights from one or more backend databases, and transmits the one or more insights to a terminal of at least one participants of the VoIP conversation for display.

  • Patent number: 11917029
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking anonymous visitors of an online website or mobile app are disclosed. The browsing activity by an anonymous visitor of the online website or mobile app is converted into features and a visitor-identifier associated with the browsing activity generated by the anonymous visitor is determined. The features are stored with the visitor-identifier in a super-visitor-state before the visitor-identifier is associated with a super-visitor-identifier. After the visitor-identifier is associated with the super-visitor-identifier, the features are stored with the super-visitor-identifier in the super-visitor-state. After the visitor-identifier is associated with the super-visitor-identifier, the features associated with the visitor-identifier in the super-visitor-state may be combined, e.g., aggregated, with the features associated with the super-visitor-identifier and the visitor-identifier may be removed from the super-visitor-state.

  • Patent number: 11914563
Abstract: New data structures for analyzing a log are generated. A hierarchical data structure includes a plurality of hierarchical nodes. Each node is associated with data and metadata. Each node may also be associated with analysis data. Information (data, metadata, and/or analysis data) of an ancestor node is imputed to a descendant node; a descendant node inherits the information of an ancestor node. When determining analysis data for a particular hierarchical node, information from any ancestor node to the particular hierarchical node may be used; however, information from non-ancestor nodes is not necessarily used. A timeline data structure includes a reference to a hierarchical node within a hierarchical data structure and a reference to an event type. The timeline data structure is thereby associated with the information of the referenced hierarchical node and information of any ancestor nodes to the referenced hierarchical node.

  • Patent number: 11916553
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a pipeline of compare logic stages. The pipeline, at successive pipeline stages, determines whether each of a set of input symbols meets a corresponding programmable criteria. The compare logic stages each compare the set of input symbols to a respective programmable value. The compare logic stages also each provide, to a respective successive compare logic stage, a corresponding plurality of indicators of whether respective ones of the set of input symbols met the corresponding programmable criteria for that compare logic stage. The corresponding programmable criteria are configurable to be based at least in part on the corresponding plurality of indicators from a respective previous compare logic stage.
