  • Publication number: 20200092763
Abstract: Multi-operator handover is disclosed for new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) operations. In order to facilitate inter-operator handover operations, a base station, after receipt of a measurement report from a served user equipment (UE) may selectively instruct the UE to search and report an operator identifier (ID) of one or more second operator neighboring cells. In alternative aspects, a UE may store such network information, including operator ID, of all neighboring cells it measures during an idle state and report the network information to the base station when connection is established. The base station may then store the operator IDs in an neighboring operator database. The base station may then provide the operator ID for the neighboring operator to a UE for consideration of handover in future handover operations.

  • Publication number: 20200092255
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to improve distribution of service information in a computing environment. In one implementation, a computing element identifies a modification to a locally maintained service data structure that maintains status information for services of a computing environment. In response to the modification, the computing element may identify a key-value pair and add the key-value pair to a gateway protocol packet. Once added to the packet, the computing element may communicate the packet to a second computing element.

  • Publication number: 20200089651
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an experimentation framework for a computational environment in a distributed system. A machine-learning model may be created that predicts at least one output produced by the computational environment based on at least one input provided to the computational environment. During an evaluation time period that is subsequent to at least one modification being made to the computational environment, at least one modified output produced by the computational environment may be determined. The machine-learning model may be used to calculate at least one predicted output that would have been produced by the computational environment during the evaluation time period if the at least one modification had not been made. A determination may also be made about how the at least one modification affected the computational environment based on a comparison of the at least one modified output and the at least one predicted output.

  • Patent number: 10594746
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a connection service that identifies routing paths for providing a data flow between a client computing device and a target computing device. A client computing device can send an API-based connection request to various servers hosting the connection service. The connection service processes the requests to determine a routing path for the connection. Advantageously, the connection service selects a routing path from a plurality of available routing paths if a client computing device is associated with a network address translator. The connection service may provide an externally addressable network address if it determines that no such address is available for routing of a data flow.
