  • Publication number: 20190386999
Abstract: A system for user-processing of data includes a processor, computer readable storage medium, and a program for generating an authorized response to a message in a network. Messages with content that relates to a group, sent by an originator via a network, are detected. The computer system determines that the message relates to the group by analyzing the message content. Members of the group are selected as designated senders to contribute to an authorized response for the group by analyzing the message. Selected designated senders are notified that they are selected to contribute to the authorized response. Initial responses to the originator from the designated senders are intercepted. The computer system combines the initial responses from the designated senders for generating a combined response as an authorized response for the group and sends the combined response to the originator via the network as the authorized response for the group.

  • Publication number: 20190383116
Abstract: Some aspects of what is described here relate to analyzing a well cement slurry. In some aspects, a well cement slurry is mixed in a mixer under a plurality of conditions. The plurality of conditions correspond to a plurality of distinct Reynolds number values for the well cement slurry in the mixer. Power number values associated with mixing the well cement slurry in the mixer under the plurality of conditions are identified. Each power number value is based on an amount of energy used to mix the well cement slurry under a respective one of the plurality of conditions. Values for parameters of a functional relationship between power number and Reynolds number are identified based on the power number values and the Reynolds number values for the plurality of conditions.

  • Publication number: 20190383227
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a method and to a device for controlling an internal combustion engine supercharged by an exhaust-gas turbocharger. The method includes: determining the time duration required for a specific internal combustion engine in operation, at a current operating point and with a predefined combination of settings of switching actuators, to perform an increase of the charge pressure from a current charge pressure to a target charge pressure associated with a target operating point; comparing the determined time duration with a multiplicity of stored time durations, which are each assigned to a predefined different combination of the settings of the switching actuators; and controlling the internal combustion engine with that combination of the settings of the switching actuators which permits the quickest increase of the charge pressure to the target charge pressure.

  • Publication number: 20190386610
Abstract: To reduce the overall environmental impact of a residence or commercial facility, a system is provided for integrating energy usage. In such a system, there is a system for capturing solar energy; a system for fermenting biomass and concentrating the fermentate, generating carbon dioxide and ethanol; a system for storing excess energy for subsequent release; and a system for growing biomass. In integrating the systems, the captured solar energy is used as heat and electrical power. Excess energy beyond an instantaneous energy requirement is stored in the system for storing excess energy. Ethanol produced is used as a fuel. Carbon dioxide that is produced is provided to the system for growing biomass. Instantaneous energy deficiencies are reduced by releasing stored excess energy.

  • Publication number: 20190387289
Abstract: Data are transmitted by radio between a terminal and a data collector. The data collector is intermittently or constantly in receive mode. The terminal attempts, from an idle phase, to set up a communication with the data collector in order to send all or some of the data to the data collector and/or to receive them from the data collector. Alternatively, the data collector attempts to set up a communication with the terminal in order to send all or some of the data to the terminal and/or to receive them from the terminal. The setup of the communication is followed by the terminal sending a message to the data collector and the data collector, after receiving the message, continuing, interrupting and/or terminating the transmission of the data during communication on a basis of the content of the message.
