Abstract: A system and method for charging battery packs is provided. The system may include a charging pad comprising a power supply, a charging pad surface, and a microcontroller unit. The power supply may provide charging power. The charging pad surface may include a first charging region and a second charging region. The microcontroller unit may control delivery of charging power to the first charging region and the second charging region such that a device placed in contact with the first charging region is given a higher charging priority than a device placed in contact with the second charging region.

Abstract: A positioning wand for assisting in positioning at least one of a first magnetic implant and a second magnetic implant configured for forming an anastomosis between two adjacent walls of a digestive tract of a patient is provided. The positioning wand can include an elongated member sized and configured to be inserted into an abdominal cavity of the patient, and a distal tip provided at a distal end of the elongated member. The distal tip can include a guide magnet configured to magnetically couple with the at least one of the first and second magnetic implants through a wall of the digestive tract to position the at least one of the first and second magnetic implants to a desired site of the anastomosis. The distal tip can be configured to be moveable in response to a contact pressure upon contact with the wall of the digestive tract.

Abstract: A wellhead pressure reduction and power generating assembly includes a wellhead, a supply pipe, a prime mover, a pump, and an accumulator bank. The wellhead is configured to supply a pressurized production fluid flow and is in fluid communication with the supply pipe. The prime mover is configured to induce a pressure drop within the pressurized production fluid flow and is in fluid communication with the supply pipe. The pump is configured to receive a mechanical force of the prime mover and operatively coupled with the prime mover. The accumulator bank is configured to accumulate a pressurized hydraulic fluid and is in fluid communication with the pump.

An elastic laminate may be joined to the chassis in one of the first or second waist regions. The elastic laminate includes an ultrasonically bonded laminate having a bond pattern. The bond pattern includes a plurality of repeating units and, each repeating unit includes a closed cell unit. The bonds in the bond pattern include a Bond Separation Distance of about 3.5 mm or less.

Abstract: A system for detecting analytes in a test sample, and a method for processing the same, is provided. The system includes a cartridge reader unit that has a control unit and a pneumatic system, and a cartridge assembly that prepares the samples with mixing material(s) through communication channels. The assembly has a memory chip with parameters for preparing the sample and at least one sensor. The assembly, pneumatic system, and control unit operate together to prepare the sample and provide the prepared sample to the sensor for detecting analytes, and also process measurements from the sensor to generate test results.

Such simulation may include (i) using a transparent media display having a portion of its pixels projecting the virtual participant's body image while keeping at least a portion of the background transparent (e.g., to visible light), (ii) disposing sensor(s) (e.g., camera) behind the transparent media display at the gaze of the participant, and/or (iii) using added virtual overlays (e.g., of plants, memorabilia, and/or furniture) to the virtual image (e.g., that are consistent with the local environment), e.g., to provide a sense of depth ranging from the overlays to the virtual participant projection and to the background showing through the transparent media display.

Abstract: Systems and methods include receiving a request for a service in a Segment Routing network; determining an intended path for the service, provisioning a head-end node with a Segment Identifier (SID) list for the intended path, and reserving bandwidth for the service on the intended path; monitoring the Segment Routing network; and responsive to a condition determined based on the monitoring, updating the SID list for the service. The condition can include a current path for the service in the Segment Routing network differing from a provisioned path in the Segment Routing network. The condition can be based on any of a failure in the Segment Routing network, a topology change in the Segment Routing network, bandwidth changes in the Segment Routing network, an optimization timer, and input from an operator.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for loading multiple primitives per thread in a graphics pipeline are disclosed. A system includes a graphics pipeline frontend with a geometry engine, shader processor input (SPI), and a plurality of compute units. The geometry engine generates primitives which are accumulated by the SPI into primitive groups. While accumulating primitives, the SPI tracks the number of vertices and primitives per group. The SPI determines wavefront boundaries based on mapping a single vertex to each thread of the wavefront while allowing more than one primitive per thread. The SPI launches wavefronts with one vertex per thread and potentially multiple primitives per thread. The compute units execute a vertex phase and a multi-cycle primitive phase for wavefronts with multiple primitives per thread.

At least one node in a network adds a new block to a first cryptographically verifiable ledger represented by a first sequence of blocks that is stored in one or more non-transitory computer-readable media. The new block added to the first cryptographically verifiable ledger contains a component identifier and a hash of a previous block in the first sequence of blocks. The at least one node in the network adds a new block to a second cryptographically verifiable ledger represented by a second sequence of blocks that is stored in the one or more non-transitory computer-readable media. The new block added to the second cryptographically verifiable ledger contains a destination identifier, the first sequence of blocks, and a hash of a previous block in the second sequence of blocks.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for preemptively reserving buffer space for primitives and positions in a graphics pipeline are disclosed. A system includes a graphics pipeline frontend with any number of geometry engines coupled to corresponding shader engines. Each geometry engine launches shader wavefronts to execute on a corresponding shader engine. The geometry engine preemptively reserves buffer space for each wavefront prior to the wavefront being launched on the shader engine. When the shader engine executes a wavefront, the shader engine exports primitive and position data to the reserved buffer space. Multiple scan converters will consume the primitive and position data, with each scan converter consuming primitive and position data based on the screen coverage of the scan converter. After consuming the primitive and position data, the scan converters mark the buffer space as freed so that the geometry engine can then allocate the freed buffer space to subsequent shader wavefronts.
